“1st choice for Fredricksburg”

Great hotel and if we had more time there was a great pool and exercise room too. A continental breakfast with all the extras.... Wonderful place.....loved the Qsize plush beds!!!

“Will stay here again”

We have stayed here before nand will stay there again. Many nearby attractions, Battlefields Etc. Good Restaurants nearby.

Clean rooms. Funky colors. Near the interstate, but well insulated.

“Better than other hotels in the area.”

The hotel itself was ok. In my experience of traveling, the front desk at the hotel normally knows or can direct you to different places, this was lacking here. There was no or little contact (almost an un-friendlness) between the hotel guest and staff. Most staff members usually ask how are you doing, is there anything we can do to make your stay more pleasent, etc. not here. The room itself was clean, but the bed was very un-comfortable, hard to sleep. No mini-bar or refrigerator or microwave in the room ether. Most hotels/motels seem to have these items, almost a standard now-a-days. Overall....better than other hotels we have used in this area.

“Disappointment”

From the moment I walked in, I was not too impressed with the cleanliness of the entrance door. When I entered the elevator, I noticed it looked old and dirty, despite the fact that this hotel is not really that old. The room was clean overall. The bathroom wasn't as comfortable as I expected. The sink lacked a counter on which to put toiletries and such. The TV had a distorted picture. I spent three nights there and they never emptied the trash bin in the bathroom. I was so disappointed because I thought this hotel would be just as good and nice as the one next door, and everytime I drove by and saw the other hotel, I was wishing I had booked a room in it instead. I doubt I will ever go back to the Fairfield.
