“My Stay at the Courtyard”

I was pleased with the hotel and its location in Alexandria. For the price, it was a great deal. My room was clean and comfortable.

“Would stay there again”

Very enjoyable stay and the staff was very attentive and pleasant. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. My only surprise was that room had not been cleaned yet as of 3:45pm on a Saturday afternoon.

“Very clean and helpful”

The employees from the front desk to the shuttle drivers were courteous and helpful. they were all willing to give 100% to get us what we wanted or where we wanted to go. The hotel was clean and beds were comfortable.

“Great Place to Stay”

I found the staff very friendly and willing to help. The accomodations were very comfortable and clean. It was close to Old town and Alexandria (5 Mins away). I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

“Good option, for a tourist.”

Rooms are smaller than most of Courtyard Marriott hotels, room cleanliness could be better, but still not bad. Hotel is ok for price paid.

Area recommendations

Good choices for a visit to Washington area are: Pentagon City (best area) Arlington and Alexandria. Hotels have airport shuttle or transportation to the Metro Station. This area have better priced hotels.

“Don't know WHAT some of these other reviewers are talking about!”

I was a little concerned because I made my reservations before I read the reviews. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I checked in. The lobby was very clean and the hotel provided many amenities. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and seemed genuinely interested in making my stay pleasant. One worker even gave me his umbrella to borrow in the rain! I did not enounter any issues with noise and the neighborhood was fine - grocery store and restaurants across the street. Garage parking. I have stayed at much worse marriott hotels in "better" neighborhoods. I would recommend this hotel and stay again in the future.

“Very convenient”

Our family of four stayed here during a vacation to D.C. and we couldn't be more pleased. The manager and staff were very kind and very helpful. Their shuttle service took us to the metro and picked us up daily when we called. The rooms were newly remodeled and very clean, but they were still working on the lobby. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
