Hotel is on the main road into Anguillara (but not really within walking distance to the lake). Adequate free parking at the front and also a bus stop close by. Rooms very spacious and clean with tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was continental style but sufficient and very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Charming hotel with only 7 bedrooms in wonderful gardens/grounds . Staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is quite outstanding - fine dining in beautiful surroundings.
Follow the directions provided by the hotel (and the hotel signs) to find it, otherwise there is certainly a risk of getting lost.

A country resort would normally have plenty of facilities - this has none. We were very disappointed that we had wasted the last day of our holiday here. The staff were friendly and we enjoyed our meal in the restaurant but thats it. The breakfast was awful - there was a dry croissant left out from the day before, The room we booked was 'superior' - what a joke. The bed and pillows were rock hard, and no mattress protector, the curtains were coming off the rail, the fridge was dirty. When we had a spa bath - there were brown bits floating in the bath. There was one other couple staying here besides us.
The listing should make it very clear that this property is a self-contained apartment in a residential complex in a very residential area of the town. We were totally surprised when we arrived late afternoon (having embarked from the ferry from Sardegna) to find that we had to drive somewhere to get food to make our own breakfast. Our stay was for five nights so stocking up with food wasn't realistic. There are no stores/bars within walking distance, so you really need a car and GPS to get to anything, including the lake. Once we found a place that was open at 9:30 a.m., we drove to it for our breakfast or did without.
I think the photo of the building on the listing is misleading as it looks like it is a resort-style accommodation with the usual Italian breakfast provided.
"A nice country house in the land of the old Romans"
We choose the hotel because it was close to the area we wanted to visit and thanks to the Expedia reviewers. I have to say that the previous reviewers did a good job. The country house is not far away from the small town of Bracciano, but it's surrounded by trees and the best characteristics are the view of the lake and the silence. Domestic animals live in the area and there is a lot of space around the main house. The road to the house is a little bit tricky, but with the GPS is not a big deal. Parking is not a problem. The house is on the top of the hill, and the bedrooms have large window doors, so when you wake up in the morning the view is simply gorgeus. The hotel staff offer a good breakfast, with home made jam and marmalade, and the special nuts cream very tasty. During the night no noise at all, so it was a great escape from the crowded city. We took our bicycles and we rode around the country side, so we had a very good experience.
This hotel is situated about 35km north of Rome, a couple of km north of the town of Bracciano. Having your own car is essential for exploring the surrounding area. The hotel is spacious and clean with onsite parking (open air). A separate restaurant is also located on the site. The hotel is less than 20 yrs old; its interior has a lovely art deco feel to it, with whitewashed walls and light timber details. Staff are pleasant and helpful with adequate English. There are passenger lifts to the upper floors. The rooms on the front side of the hotel overlook untidy countryside, whereas in complete contrast those on the rear side have stunning views of Lake Bracciano. (I would recommend you request a lake-facing room). An adequate continental breakfast was included which was self-service. All-in-all, this is a pleasant hotel with sensibly priced rooms.
