“Don't be put off”

This hotel is not a pretty sight from the outside. The building is due for refurbishment. But the comfort and welcome were everything I would expect from a four star hotel. The rooms are of a good size and well equipped. The hotel facilities are good, quality of food was above average and the staff were without exception friendly and helpful. Free parking and wi-fi make it a good price for guests travelling on business.

“very nice for vacationers”

I can only say it is a very nice and clean hotel. I have been there before a few years earlier and the hotel has not changed it is just as nice as it was before. I only can recommend it to everybody.

Area recommendations
This hotel is outside the city but close enough to get everywhere. It is quiet but things you need are close.

“Steve”

Unless you have a car, don"t even think of staying here. It was on the on ramp of the Autobahn and bus service was infrequent

“Excelent Hotel, when the location is not a major factor”

This hotel provides large ad comfortable rooms, clean and pleasant. A lot of parking and a close coffee/restaurant that is open late. The only issue to consider is the location. It is 5 km (3 miles) from the city center. Since we had a car, this was not an issue.

“Location not the best”

Plenty of parking.Great breakfast.Hotel clean and quiet.A bit out of town ideal if just passing thru.Met our needs.

“Das in die Jahre gekommene Best Western liegt sehr weit draußen an einer Einfallstraße”

Das Hotel liegt leider direkt an einer vierspurigen Einfallstraße mit Ampelkreuzung. Entsprechende Lärmeinwirkung ist daher auch bei geschlossenen Fenstern unausweichlich. Ohne Auto ist die Lage eine Katastrophe. Die Einrichtung ist doch sehr in die Jahre gekommen und wirkt ungepflegt. Auch der vorhandene Pool (leider nur ca. 24 Grad kalt) sowie die sehr kleine Sauna können nicht überzeugen. Auch hier hat der Zahn der Zeit genagt. Alles in allem gibt es für das gleiche Geld in Kassels Stadtmitte bessere Hotelketten-Angebote. Die Bezeichnung "Grand" bleibt ein Rätsel...

“Bestens”

Sehr schönes Hotel und Ambiente. Auch die Zimmer waren sehr gemütlich, man fühlt sich gleich wie zuhause. Einziger Mangel die nächste Straßenbahn Haltestelle ist gute 15-20 min zu Fuß entfernt

“Nicht noch einmal”

Laut, schmuddelig, nur mit Auto gut erreichbar. Fenster nur einen spaltbreit zu öffnen. Finsteres Zimmer.
