Recently refurbished
Good location in the heart of the town centre. The hotel was recently refurbished so it actually looks nicer than what the photos on Hotels.com show you.

This hotel is well placed for visiting he harbor and walk streets but is difficult to reach as it is not hear parking.

Great central location - probably not 4 star..
The hotel is centrally located and [provided you pay] offers great views over the harbour. We were there at the start of the season [17 - 24.6.14] & the noise from the bars below was acceptable but could be a problem as the season progresses [ironic that the views & noise potential are at odds with each other?]. The room itself was clean & a reasonable size but the bed was short & the bathroom extremely cramped yet functional. The staff were courteous & helpful. The rooms, linen & bedding cleaned on a daily basis but by usual standards, I would rate the hotel as a 3 star not 4. Don't let that put you off as on balance there has to be a compromise for such wonderful views....

Lively location
I stayed at Hotel Balanea for 5 days. They hotel staff is extremely friendly. We stayed on the 3 rd floor facing the harbor. A great view. Room was clean and comfortable. The only issue one might have is the nightly music at the local restaurant below. A great location for the beach, visiting calvi and being in the heart of its harbor.

Great location, hotel needs work
The hotel suffered for us because of bad-smelling air conditioning. it is however in a good location, but if you want to get your bags to the door be there in the morning because at 1 pm streets all around become pedestrian only. there is parking nearby in the Port de Plaisance at a cheap overnight rate.

Enttäuschendes 4-Sterne Hotel
Zunächst das Positive: Hotel hat sehr gute Lage am Hafen und zur Zitadelle. Für ein 4-Sterne-Hotel hat es allerdings erhebliche Nachteile: 1) Kleine Zimmer 2) Der kostenlose Hotelparkplatz befindet sich ca. 10 min. vom Hotel entfernt. Bei Anreise nach 12 Uhr ist die Zufahrt zum Hotel gesperrt (Fußgängrtzone). Man muss den Koffer bis zum Parkplatz schleppen. 3) Hotel hat keinen Pool. Nächster Strand ca. 15 min. entfernt. Wir würden dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen. Schlechtes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Es gibt mehrere Hotels etwas außerhalb vom Zentrum, die mehr Annehmlichkeiten bieten.

Du bien et du vraiment moins bien
Jolie. Gamble au dernier étage. Lit correct Salle de bain médiocre. Pommeau de douche cassé et très importante odeur d'égouts A la réception, ils sont pas vraiment désagréables mais pas trop agréable non plus.

Un des rares hôtels avec une intention un peu deco sympa a un prix normal sur l’ile. Pas de grande qualité comme eeco en terme de details mais ca fait le job ! NB : une cafetière ou machine a expresso serait bienvenue. Ainsi qu un coffre ! Nous y reviendrons sans pb

Les prestations ne correspondent en aucun cas au tarif demandé et ne sont pas dignes d'un 3 étoiles !!! les finitions sont déplorables dans les chambres et salle de bain, plinthes, portes etc... Lorsque l'on dort côté port, on subit les nuisances sonores des bars en RDC même hors saison. En revanche, l'accueil est peut-être trop courtois ce qui traduit des lacunes dans les prestations.

Très mauvais rapport qualité prix
Certes la vue par la petite fenêtre (alors que nous étions en catégorie "panoramique") est magnifique (port de Calvi), mais le rapport qualité prix (240 euros par nuit!!!) est désastreux. très mauvaise insonorisation avec le bruit du port et des chanteurs jusque très très tard dans la nuit.... Juste sous la fenêtre. Pas de piscine, contrairement à ce que laissent entendre les photos de présentation... Bref, ça fait cher la nuit blanche. (et la clim qui fuit donc flaque dans la chambre)

Beliggenhet midt i smørøyet mht by, havn og uteliv men tidvis mye støy fra musikk i sene nattetimer. Meget enkelt hotell dels oppusset og dels forfallent. Hyggelig og engasjert betjening.

sehr sehr Zentrale Lage daher Parken schwierig ...
Schöner Aufenthalt einiger Mangel bei dem Preis Hinterzimmer ohne Blick aufs Meer und Türe des Bades/WC von der Badseite unten ohne Furnier da die Feuschtigkeit der Dusche das aufgelöst hatte... bei 4* geht das eigentlich wirklich nicht. Und leider war bei unserem Preis dann auch das Frühstück nicht dabei so gab es einen Cafe am Hafen im Freien keine 20 Meter weg vom Hotel was letztendlich viel schöner ist als der Frühstücksraum ;-) Aber ein nettes Hotel mit sehr zentraler Lage für mich war alles OK.

Virkelig central beliggenhed
Ekstremt centralt beliggende hotel, udgang til gågaden på den ene side og ned til havnefronten på den anden. Renligheden er tip-top og personalet yders behjælpelige. På dette hotel er man midt i det hele på godt og ondt.

Fantastiskt läge och utsikt från rummet
+ Fantastiskt läge med balkong på yachthamnens promenad även med utsikt över Citadellet. 350 m efter hamnpromenaden till fin sandstrand med klart och rent vatten samt flera trevliga lunchrestauranger. Hela Calvi har massor med trevliga restauranger och barer såväl i gamla stadens gränder som i hamnen. Ett ställe man säkert återkommer till. Priser som hemma i Sverige. - Ett litet minus för trycket i duschen annars allt toppen.

Für den Preis mehr erwartet
Hotel in zentraler Lage, da am Hafen kann zum Schlafen abends das Fenster nicht offen bleiben, da sehr laut (gut isolierte Fenster). Parkplatz (10 Euro pro Tag) über Parkkarte vom Hotel nahe dem Hotel am Hafen. Zimmer spartanisch eingerichtet, Badezimmer sehr eng. Fernseher funktionierte nur für einzelne Sender, Fußball (wir waren zur WM da) konnte nicht gesehen werden. Für unglaubliche 12 Euro extra Frühstücksbüffet in einem Raum mitten im Hotel ohne Außenfenster mit schlechtem Kaffee, kaum Auswahl, Eierkocher funktionierte nicht, so dass wir dann das Frühstück am Hafen eingenommen haben (wir waren für 3 Nächte dort)
