Delightful place to stay before boarding the ferry
Attentive staff in a very pleasant location. Pool and beach with a restaurant on site. I loved the secure parking for my motorcycle after having it vandalized the night before in Bastia.

Great stay at L'Ariana hotel!
We had a lovely stay at Hotel L'Ariana!! We were received warmly by the hotel manager and had our bags brought to our room for us while someone else from the hotel gave us a tour of the restaurant and pool area. The room had good cable (BBC, good for us English speakers!), good A/C, and a cute balcony with chairs that looked straight out over the water. Absolutely beautiful! The pool was nice for taking a dip and there was always a lounge chair available for soaking in the summer sun. We ate at the restaurant one night and had a very good meal, and it was so nice and lovely to sit right by the sea and listen to the waves as we ate. It happened to be a holiday there, so we were treated to live music during dinner and fireworks show down the beach after. If you do not have a car of your own, plan to stick around the hotel or stay within walking distance--we walked to another hotel for lunch that was close by one day, and there's a cute beach just 5 minutes down the coast. It's easier than trying to get a cab to and from Bastia and there's really no point in going to the city center anyway--there's the restaurant at L'Ariana, the pool, the sea--not really much reason to leave in the first place! :)

Perfect for the occasion
All the hotel staff were very helpful. Would definitely recommend staying on the sea front to wake up to fantastic sunrises. Better to have breakfast outside the hotel in central Bastia. Good sized rooms and A/C was fantastic to have in the rooms although the showers were a bit basic. Wouldn't have changed my booking at all, Thanks Ariana!

This hotel is clearly overpriced. I do not know, who get to them 3 stars, but it is too much. Such kind of condition is maximum 1 star level. And the price today will be half , they ask now.

do not choose mountain view. The trees in front of your window don't allow you to see anything. Elevator was not working. We had to carry our luggage 2 flights of stairs. No Wi-i in room. Not convenient. Too expensive for value of room.

Great hotel with a sea view
When I booked this hotel, I did not expect anything special after reading its reviews. However, once we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised! The hotel was right on a seaside and the room had sea-view (it seems that all rooms are facing the sea as corridors are on the street-side). Swimming pool was just in front of the room too. Very nice and helpful receptionist (even though we arrived late at night). We weren't charged for the parking either. If I'll ever go to this area again - I know where I'll stay.

Stanza spaziosa con grande balcone, molto pulito. Il bagno grande con ampia doccia e didet (raro in francia), asciugamani morbidissimi e puliti. Personale molto disponibile e davvero gentile che parla molto bene l’italiano. Piscina con vista sul mare e ristorante rendono il luogo davvero invitante. Davvero una bella scoperta, comodissimo per l’imbarco a Bastia.

Enorm verouderd hotel. Verse lakens op het bed maar ik denk dat de vloer in tijdens niet meer geveegd of gewassen werd. De drukknop van het toilet was er langs de binnenkant aangeplakt met silicone, met als gevolg, na 1 keer doortrekken was dit reeds kapot. Mooie grote terras met mooi uitzicht maar als je vraagt om er te zitten en te eten dan is het volgens het personeel te koud buiten. Eten is duur en echt ondermaats. Ontbijt was echt droevig. Klein mandje met brood , 1 potje confituur op uw bord en verder niets van keuze. Op hun site staat er dat ze een zwembad hebben, maar daar zat geen water in. Volgens mij een familiehotel die is overgegaan op de zoon die toekwam met de dikke Porche enkel om het daggeld te komen ophalen en verder niets te doen... enkele geld opstrijken en niets te investeren in vernieuwing van het hotel. Een echte teleurstelling. Er is verder ook niets in de buurt van dit Hotel. Dus beter in het vervolg het budget iets hoger leggen en een beter hotel zoeken is mij mening.

Nous découvrons ce commentaire que nous trouvons très orienté et au contenu douteux. Les chambres sont faites tous les jours, les draps sont en effet frais et propre. Ce qui l'est plus rarement se sont certains clients..... Votre commentaire concernant la terrasse et le restaurant est inadmissible nos prix vont de 8€ à 23€ notre marchandise est de qualité ! Et grâce a Dieu nous ne sommes pas suffisamment débile pour dire qu'il fait trop froid pour perdre de la clientèle !!! Nous sommes ouvert 6 mois et nous savons qu'il faut travailler tous les jours. Concernant votre phrase sur le fils du patron dommage pour vous c'est une femme..... NB: La piscine était notée fermée jusqu'au 15 Juin.

Superbe salle a diner avec vue sur la mer, nouriture excellente, personnel très accueillant et charmant. Notre chambre etait dans un batiment, de l'autre cote de la route, qui aurait besoin d'etre mieux entretenu. La chambre et la salle de bain auraient besoin d'etre redecorrees. Le lit n'était pas très confortable; le matelas etait tres ferme et on sentait les ressorts. En espérant que les chambres sont mieux dans le batiment principal.

Ein völlig heruntergekommenes Hotel mit dringendem Renovationsbedarf. Sowas sollte hotels.com nicht anbieten. Am Morgen der zweiten Nacht musste ich meine Utensilien von tausenden von Ameisen befreien. Die Antwort des Rezeptionisten war nur, dass es nicht seine Schuld wäre. Immerhin habe ich den Kaffee am Morgen umsonst gekriegt.

Die Zimmer sind schön, näher kann man nicht am Meer sein, die Klima ebenso. Das Bad ist allerdings sehr klein. Was absolut nicht zu empfehlen ist, ist das überteuerte Frühstück und auch das Restaurant.

nous avons été très déçus par la chambre. Celle ci était petite avec une salle de bains très vieillotte et une douche minuscule. Quant à la literie nous avons eu le droit à un Matelas tâché et sans aucune protection.

Albergo sul mare comodo al porto
Abbiamo soggiornato 2 notti in una camera con vista mare veramente stupenda praticamente sul mare. L'hotel è posizionato a 5 km (10 min di auto) dal porto di Bastia quindi molto comodo per partenze/arrivi in Corsica considerando anche che la reception è aperta 24h/24h. La camera è arredata in modo essenziale ,il balconcino è dotato di un paio di sedie per godersi il panorama. Il bagno è diviso dalla camera da una porta scorrevole; il wc ha un trituratore incorporato un pò rumoroso. Abbiamo cenato al ristorante in una location chic, buona qualità delle pietanze (in particolare l'orata al brocciu) forse un pò caro rispetto alla media. Abbiamo ordinato una bottiglia di vino ed all'apertura il tappo si è spezzato, la cameriera con una caduta di stile ha ripulito la bottiglia con le dita per rimuovere i residui del tappo. Personale gentile e qualcuno parla italiano, al ristorante è disponibile il menù in italiano. Il WiFi (gratuito) funziona esclusivamente alla reception e al ristorante.
