“Good value, hotel could use updating”
Our family had a good experience. The staff was friendly, the free breakfast was substantial, the room was quiet and had a fridge. On the down side, the hotel is needing updating. For the price, though, it was a good value.
“Decent”
Decent stay. Pleasant staff. Breakfast excellent. High dusting needed otherwise satisfied. Would stay again.
“Basic”
All you need for one or two days, no more, just for working travels, because all you need is a bed to sleep.
“Worth the money”
If you are looking for something unexpensive, worth your money this is the place to go, rooms are clean, has a small outside pool and includes breakfast. It also has wahser and dryers if you need to use them at any time, $2.00 in quarters for each. It also has a small gym, open all the time. Also restaurants are walking distance to hotel, supermarkets and dollar stores, liquor stores. FYI Supermarkets in this area do not sell liquor, you have to go to the liquor stores. Stores like target, and walmarts are driving distance and if you are going to the Carl Ripken Stadium, is 5 minutes away driving distance. Not bad for the price.
“130am Fire Alarm”
This hotel is located along a busy highway which makes for difficulty in entering the location. Going in one direction, you must travel approximately half a mile in order to make a U turn to enter the location. Right off the bat, our key did not work on the outside door. To remedy the problem, the lock was simply removed The hotel is not at all accessible for wheelchairs. The restaurant is on a lower level, even from the first floor, and in order to get my son there, we needed to exit outside and travel all the way around the building, to be able to enter the main lobby and then the restaurant. The main bathroom outside the restaurant was no satisfactory at all. It smelled like it had not been cleaned in some time, and was downright disgusting. To top all of it off, at 130am, the fire alarm went off and rang for about 30 minutes. There were no lights or alarms in the room itself, only in the hallway. At first, we thought it was just the air conditioner making noise. After about 10 minutes of the disruption, we opened the door to realize it was the fire alarm. We exited the building and stood outside for about 20 minutes. During this time, people straggled in and out of the building, noone really sure what was going on. We finally got back into the room, being told it was a "false" alarm. Much to our chagrin, the alarm rang again at 700am for approximately 5 minutes. Just enough to startle us out of our sleep and cap off a "less than ideal" overnight stay.
“Pretty Much What You'd Expect For The Price”
Arrived around 10:00 p.m. to a line of about 5 parties and no one was at the front desk or answering the phone. When she returned, the clerk didn't seem too enthusiastic about the crowd in the lobby. It would be nice to have a "be back in ..." card or message at times when no one is available. The hotel was in average condition but clean. The bathroom is a little cramped.
“Everything as expected”
I was pleased with this hotel. It was good value for money and conveniently located off the Interstate. Have been impressed by the hotel chain so far after stays at 2 different La Quinta hotels.
