I have just returned home from a motorcycle trip to Germany with eight friends, this being the second time we have used the hotel. The hotel is in a small town near to Freudenstadt just of the 28 - handy for the B500 & the Black Forest.
The staff were fantastic. Friendly, polite and helpful - all could speak English.
The hotel is a little dated but that just adds to the charm of the place. We each had a single room with on-suite. Clean & comfy.
The kitchen was open until 2100, but you could order your food to be ready for a little after, and there was no rush to finish your meal, the bar was open for as long as we wanted to stay and chat. Both were very well priced - a three course meal for 8 including drinks throughout the evening for 35 euros each.
Breakfast was cheap and we had a choice of pretty much anything you could want.
Many of the locals use the restaurent for nights out. They loved chatting to us about our travels and motorbikes, I have never been made to feel so welcome.
We will certainly be going back next year.

The hotel is located in a very picturesque neighborhood. The owner is a great and easygoing person. He did a great job to make my stay there remarkable. He speaks English so that there was no communication barrier.
Rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, everything is immaculately clean (as always expected in Germany).
Breakfast was really delicious with authentic local meat. Once entered the breakfast room, you would eager to grab a camera and make pictures, so nicely was it decorated.
Overall great experience. I would stay there again and highly recommend this place to everyone. Giving this place a five star review.
Stayed for 3 nights in Feb 09. Hotel is 100mtrs from town centre. Easy parking on-site. Warm and friendly welcome/check-in. There is a lift for those unable/unwilling to use the stairs. My room was airy and spacious, clean and well decorated. Powerful en suite shower. Plenty of towels. Complimentary shower gel. Quality nets and thick, heavy drapes.Next to no traffic noise. Adequate wardrobe space and occasional furniture. Great views over the town from the right rooms due to hotel's elevated position. Comfortable, newly decorated breakfast room in hunting lodge style i.e. exposed beams, stuffed animals etc. Breakfast is typical continental buffet style of good quality with the usual choice of cold cuts, cheese, breads and conserves. Nice coffee. The tram/bus terminus is 10 mins walk with good links to Karlsruhe etc. Good info folder at reception with tram times etc. No mini bar in the room but good selection of chilled soft drinks/beer/fruit juice available at a reasonable cost from reception. Negatives? Well I have to look pretty hard to be honest and there is so much that is good about this place....but I did notice that the bed sheets were not changed every day. That's all. To summarise, staying off-peak as I did the value was exceptional and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Baden Baden is a gorgeous city. We loved staying at this hotel because it is within walking distance to City Center. There's also a gorgeous park nearby. The hotel feels very comfortable, while also feeling more upscale. The breakfast buffet is costly, but it's quite good. The bar could use more bartenders who are familiar with how to make drinks. We asked for a Kettle One martini and the bartender kept trying to give us mix. It was a small thing and wouldn't stop me from staying here again. Great place and I highly recommend it!!
What hotel has NO air conditioning these days? Maybe its climate change, but we sweated all night even with our windows wide open. This was end of August, and there was a thunderstorm in the early evening as well. Didn't help.
But it was only 7 minutes to the soccer stadium next morning.
