Basic but does the job
For the price you pay, you get everything you need. It's definitely at the budget end, obviously, but clean and the staff go above and beyond to be helpful

Awful, staff were great but the place is very run down. In the room, kettle was full and in an unlit area. Electric radiator didn’t work, shower was a trickle. No hot breakfast available.

1 very slight drawback
The only slight drawback was that the room had a shared bathroom. I know this when we booked - and as the only room left we had to go with it. But after a night of feeling unwell (nothing to do with the food at the hotel) the shared bathroom experience was a minor issue. Probably more so for the other guests. The staff were excellent, helpful & attentive.

Dvd and loo mystery
Half a loo roll is not enough when a lady is present and no dvd was provided but was advertised, otherwise lovely, comfortable room and en suite.

On arrival first impressions very good parking excellence. Staff were very welcoming due to circumstances they carried my case up to my room. Nothing was too much effort for any of the staff members.

Room very confortable , but needed slight repair to bedside table , Tv not able to view terrestrial channels, wifi not secure so was unable to use , Breakfast had good selection and was fresh , overall a nice stay but a bit pricey for one night

Nice place.
Nice hotel. Doesn't look too appealing from the outside but lovely inside. The lady who booked me in very kindly upgraded my room to ensuite. Very clean room looked like it had been recently updated. Breakfast was ok.

Disappointing
Very disappointed, although got the hotel at a ‘cheaper’ price. Bed gave me and my boyfriend a bad back for a few days after staying there, Communal shower/toilet didn’t have any soaps in to use, was not aware of the communal aspect of the trip as when booking it didn’t make us aware. Weird things such as the tv turning off and on on its own. Run down hotel and wouldn’t recommend spending your money.

A very pleasant stay.
Room a little Chilly when we first arrived. Bed comfortable. The outstanding feature was.......how friendly and helpful the staff were, at all times.

The room was cold and very dated. Only worked out after a while that the radiator was working. Two wall lights over the bed were not working and this would have made all the difference to the room rather than a stark overhead light. The staff were extremely nice and helpful.

Just what I needed
I needed somewhere to stay for one night in Corby and the Raven Hotel did the job. The staff were pleasant and helpful, bed was comfortable, I was able to have supper in the bar and continental breakfast next morning. Friends warned me that being a busy pub it might be noisy but in fact was very quiet the night I was there.

Warm and comfortable budget room 👍
Grear service at check in, offered to carry bags for us up to our rooms. Mattress was good value for money but one pillow per person and pillows felt well used and deflated/soft. Providing an extra pillow per person would be a great idea. Room was surprisingly comfortably warm even with wooden single glazing in winter Shared shower and toilet facilities with our room were clean and spare towels were included Overall warm and comfortable budget stay
