Great sea views

Posted 25-Apr-2015
Pros: Everything.
Location: Near thetown centre and Peasholm Park with easy access to the sea front.
The hotel is a listed building facing the sea with great views from the front rooms. The back rooms face on to a fairly busy road which may disturb your sleep when the windows are open. Room was immaculately clean and the bed comfortable. The hospitaality tray was generously stocked. Breakfast is a feast if you want it to be with everything from scrambled egg to a full English with a choice of cereals, yoghurt and fruit to start. The proprietors are friendly and efficient. What more could you want?

Wonderful stay! The breakfasts were over and above what was expected. The owners were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble! Will definitely stay in The Leeway again!

lovely stay

Posted 02-Apr-2015
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing other than the weather when we stayed.
Location: You are near Filey Bridlington and Whitby and so many places to eat out.
We have just returned after a 3 night stay which was thoroughly enjoyable. Alan and Judd are a lovely couple who put themselves out to make your stay an enjoyable experience. I would certainly recommend and would go back.

Better than your average seaside bed and breakfast. Friendly, welcoming, comfortable and delicious breakfasts. An ideal place to stay in Scarborough with good parking and convenient location.

Beautiful sea view, lovely clean room, superb breakfast in the morning and Jude and Alan were very welcoming despite our late arrival. We will certainly try and book it again next time we visit Scarborough.

Great small, friendly hotel in great location.

Just returned from a 3 day stay at the Leeway. We found the hotel owners to be very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great position on the North bay with great views and is only a few minutes walk into the town and harbour area. Breakfast was very good and provided lots of choice. We even managed to get some dancing in at the Grand hotel during our stay after Jude had given us some help to locate a location. The car park is small but there is plenty of safe on street parking right outside the hotel and the owners will provide a permitt free of charge. Great stay and thanks, we will return on our next trip to Scarborough.
