Clean and tidy, lovely room and a very comfortable bed, tea and coffee making facilities in the room and a TV, ideal location for the open air theatre. Can’t fault it.

This was my 3rd stay at Sea Dogs, the location is excellent for me which is why I chose it initially. Dave is very welcoming. I’ve always had a single room at the front which is nice and clean. Shared bathroom facilities but I have yet to had to wait ever! The budget price means you can treat yourself to a stay a little more often maybe.

I was made very welcome and was contacted during the morning to say that the room was available earlier than 2.00 which I thought was good and took advantage of going to sea dogs just over a hour earlier,and would stay again because it is near to the cricket ground and quite affordable.

Great value overnight stay.
Ok it is not 5 star accommodation, but it is clean and comfortable and the owner is very helpful. Value for money is excellent so if its just a short stay for somewhere to lay your head for a night or two, then this is ideal. 15 minute walk from the railway station, i would happily stay again in the future.

This is the second time I've been here and I noticed it has been renovated since my stay some years ago.The room was spacious .The bathroom was next door. I was very near to Peaseholm Park which I love

Due to my error I booked the wrong day - Dave was a legend and sorted it so I still had a room when I arrived. The room was spot on and very clean and also there was a bath and after walking from Robin Hoods Bay that was very much needed.

Excellent location, very close to Peasholm Park and all North Bay attractions. Friendly host. Comfy bed and single room was good. Shared bathroom would not suit everyone but no issues for me.

Poor accommodations with no creature comforts
Given the reviews we were very disappointed with the accommodations here ! Rooms are tired need cleaning and repairing, the pillows and quilts are old and cheap offering little comfort. The shared shower is poor being on mixer taps it’s either hot or cold, changing at the slightest touch. There was a sickly smell in our room which hit you on entering. Both our TVs came on in the night by themselves and had to be unplugged. The owner doesn’t take card for payment insisting on Cash, and the cash point has no cash (owner told me before we went) so had to drive into the town. No twin room as booked so my daughter had to take a single box room which kept her awake as it was hot and noisy. We stayed in Scarborough before the pandemic for less than we paid here the place was spotless, had free parking and included breakfast. Owner is friendly and tried to be helpful but the place needs an overhaul

Brilliant B&B
We had a lovely time staying here. The room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was great But overall Dave the owner really makes this place special, the kids absolutely loved it and so did we! We would definitely come again! We wasn’t expecting much for a 2 star B&B, for us it was a low budget last minute much needed break to get away for a few days with our summer plans not looking likely but we had a brilliant time and couldn’t ask for more. Dave was fantastic and very helpful he did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. Don’t let the stars put you off this is a hidden Gem! Thank you Dave 😊
