Best B&B Ever!!!
This place is just wonderful, i didn't want to leave. I'll be booking to come straight back very soon. lovely evening enjoyed around the pool and garden and finished the trip with a tasty breakfast. Sue and George were both wonderful host i could have stayed forever :) Thank you.

Lovely Newsham Grange
Beautiful B&B in a great location for visiting much of North Yorkshire and the Dales. Our room was clean, comfortable and much larger than we expected. Sue is the perfect welcoming host and makes a fantastic breakfast.

What a gem! Stayed here for one night as we were attending a wedding nearby. Couldn’t be happier with the service received from Sue (and George the Rottweiler) and how lovely the Barn Owl suite was.

Great find !
Fabulous place to stay. Great if you are walking etc - but i stayed on a business trip. Not to far off the motorway. Not to much choice for food pubs but not far from town with plenty to offer Highly recommend staying here instead of a standard "premiertravel" for the same money !! Pool and hot tubs too......

Beautiful, friendly farm B&B
We stayed in Barn Owl - very spacious room with a great shower. Everything very clean. Bathrobes and slippers were a nice touch. Sue and George the dog were terrific hosts - very friendly and made us feel most welcome. Amazing breakfast also - everything super fresh. We used the hot tub which was a great luxury. Only slight negative was the TV - very basic telly with no BBC. If we were visiting during the summer, this wouldn't have been an issue as we would have been out til dark enjoying the beautiful countryside, but we visited with two teenagers on a very wet November night. We came prepared with tablets to connect to a smart TV and DVDs, but were unable to use either. Nevertheless if you're looking for somewhere to stay in North Yorkshire, then look no further. We definitely hope to be back in 2021 in better weather so can enjoy the pool. Plus kids are already missing George!

Fantastic place
Mi husband, 2 girls and myself spent last night in the owl barn, absolutely amazing, we absolutely loved it. Room was so spacious, clean and had everything we need. Hot tub was amazing Sue made us feel very welcome. Had a great breakfast this morning before we left and this was very nice too. We highly recommend this place.

Loved this place. Stayed in the Falcons Nest room - just two of us so it was lovely and spacious. Nice to have a separate dressing room area. When we arrived Sue showed us around the property and got the hot tub set up for us. Luckily the weather stayed dry so we got to spend an hour out in the tub and then sat in the garden for a bit to read our books. The bed was very comfortable, shower pressure very good too (I always think that's a deal breaker!). Pre-ordered breakfast for 9 and when we went to the breakfast room it was set up with cereals, fruit, yoghurt, toast and jam. Sue brought us in a pot of coffee and then our cooked breakfasts. Will definitely return next year.

We booked this last minute break to spend some more time away with the children before the end of the school holidays. The B&B was very clean and had everything we needed. We were only there one night and arrived late in the day but we were made to feel welcome. The building is lovely as are the outdoor grounds, we would like to return again when the weather was nicer and the children can use the pool.

Great Farm with pool
Large family room with ensuite, clean and fresh. Lovely pool and Jacuzzi area which the grandchildren made good use of during our 2 night stay. Would have liked more hooks/hanging space and shelves in the bathroom but managed and there was little space for other personal bits and pieces in the room as the tea tray and info book took up most of the space on top of the drawers. It was also a bind trying to tong my hair as the socket was too far away from the mirror. When l told Sue she said l should have asked for an extension lead so will next time as l am sure we will be going back. Great hosts nothing too much trouble, freshly cooked breakfast and fruit for our fussy granddaughter. The location was quiet and perfect for our stay.

Couldn’t have been better! Wonderful friendly and welcoming service. Gorgeous room and facilities, lots of attention to detail, the outdoor pool and the outdoor spaces were lovely, peaceful and relaxing. Often the website photos can make somewhere appear better than it is in reality, but the reality way exceeded how it looked in the photos! Fantastic place, would definitely return.

A lovely stay in a peaceful place!
Sue the host & owner was very welcoming. The converted barns were amazing, they have done an amazing job! The garden, pool, hot tub, everything about the place was just relaxing and of high standard! I was leaving very very early as I had a bike race, so Sue brought me my breakfast before I went to bed to have in my room in the morning, (I was leaving at 0400!). The star of the show was Axel the dog...one of the friendliest good natured and very good looking dog we’ve come across! Would definitely return and 100% would recommend!

We booked this just because it was near the venue of a wedding we were attending. In so doing we discovered a gem. Our room was in a separate building to the main house which offered us welcome privacy. The bedroom and shower room were of high quality and beautifully finished. The shower worked like a dream and the bed was extremely comfortable. The owner and staff cooked a lovely breakfast and were friendly and chatty. I don't normally write reviews but this B and B was so good I want others to know about it.
