Stayed one night, for shopping and night out in Toronto/North York. Room was far away from the elevator so it was very quiet. Quick check-in and pleasant staff. Parking is underground, and is very convenient (just off from Yonge St. and the road in front of the parking is very easy to get in/out). If you need to stay in North York, then this hotel is a great pick.
If you ever wanted to stay in one of those fancy Chicago or San Francisco hotels perched atop a condo or office building, this is your chance to see how the other half lives. Or have your very own Toronto apartment! The room is high tech and spacious. The location is far from downtown by the Yonge street subway is fairly close by (and you don't want to drive in Toronto anyway!). The free garage parking is a huge plus, as is the full kitchen and free WIFI. The balcony was nice but had noo furniture so I had to drag a stool from the room out there.
My brother and I stayed one night while visiting relatives. The front desk were very accommodating with a room request. The room and bathroom were very clean. The mattress and pillows were excellent. We had dinner in the hotel that evening. It was excellent! We both had the filet mignon and they were both cooked to perfection. There is a huge mall directly across the street with a movie theater. We would definitely return to this hotel.
It was quiet and nice to have a gaming room. Public transportation, 199 Express to Finch proved to help navigate through the city. Staff we're nice, no issue. I waited 15 minutes because they didn't have a room so they gave me a newly renovated room. The continental breakfast was great. Bagel and cream cheese, cereal, porridge, milk, coffee is ok, but it was free :)
I arrived Late. My friend was driving in from New York and his GPS stopped working. The midnight shift manager was very patient and went out of his way to assist my friend locate the hotel. We greatly appreciate his assistance.
Online registeration very easy once descision made. No surprises with the price. Easy hook up and entrance. 30 min walk through green space to Finch-Yonge subway. Breakfast makings very modest, but fresh bananas.
Only complaint was noises of someone up and about at 2:30 am both nights.
North York was originally construed to be a suburb of Toronto, but now stands alone as a city of its own.. High-rise condominiums and large corporations can be found here, in addition to the Toronto Centre for the Arts. Vaughan has more than doubled its population since 1991 and the suburb is home to Vaughan Mills, a large shopping center, as well as to the Canadian Soccer Hall of Fame and Museum.
