“Amazing”

This hotel is wonderful. The staff were friendly, the room was quite spacious and nicely decorated, and the food is delicious. Best 4 star hotel ever been to.

“Benefits from poor competition in the area.”

I previously lived in Wrexham 1999 to 2007 so know the area very well. I travel back to Wrexham every other month and stay for a week whilst I visit my 2 children who live with their mother, I always stay at the Ramada due to its affordable rates and level of service. Wrexham has undergone some major regeneration and the Ramada is a part of this. Currently there is no real competition for the Ramada, however the standard they set themselves is very high. There are still some deprived areas in Wrexham, but they are not near to the hotel. Wrexham nightlife is something that should be avoided as many appearances on Booze Britian and Night Cops proves.

Area recommendations

I would stay clear of Wrexham nightlife (Thurs-Sun) as it can be violent and prone to a large Police presence. During the day, Wrexham has an abundance of pound shops and low quality retail outlets. Chester is only 15 minutes drive away and offers more choice.

Nightlife

Wrexham's main nightlife consists of Brook Street and High Street. The town is normally very busy Thursday through to Sunday and tends to have a large Police prescence due the number of establishments and the number of violent incidents that come with it. The two main venue's are Chicago Rock and the Liquid/Envy nightclub next door.

“A tale of two hotels”

“Ramada Wrexham was zeer goed”

De internetprijs bij gebruik van eigen laptop was hoog, en bij gebruik van de hotelcomputer maar liefst het dubbele! Het ontbijt was ook heel duur, maar wij hadden gelukkig ons eigen brood. Het personeel was aardig en de kamer was voortdurend in orde. Het verblijf was zeer aangenaam, en het hotel staat in een rustige buurt.

Traveller's tip

aardig winkelcentrum op loopafstand, enkele kleine overdekte marktten, geldwisselen, alles op loopafstand van 10 minuten.
