A health problem made it necessary for me to stay longer than my booking. The staff response was faultless in looking after my needs. The food at this hotel is always superior and sometimes I take friends there to eat even when I am not a hotel guest. In some respects the hotel falls short of its 4-star rating, particularly in its bathroom décor and the age if its fixture and fittings. However it makes up for this with its food and staff service.
Just enjoyed a weekend of sport in Sydney and used the Mantra Chatswood as a base. Great location close to transport and took the opportunity to take a look at the Vivid festival on The Concourse in Chatswood. Amazing light show worth a look.
We live in country NSW and had to travel to Sydney for medical reasons, and needed somewhere conveniently located to the hospital. The place that we normally stayed at was booked out, but the Royal Pacific fitted the bill nicely, so it's another one on our list. We found the hotel very clean and comfortable, the staff pleasant and the food, although not a very extensive menu, good. The lift was definitely a plus.

Punthill North Shore Hotel completed an extensive refurbishment in Dec 2007. This superbly positioned property offers guests …More
we only required the room for sleeping as we were out all day and we found the room comfortable
the bed quilt was badly stained and filthy so we consigned it to a cupboard otherwise the bed was okay
the shower was hopeless and ran out of hot water very quickly
I had booked the studio but had a separate bedroom to living area which was very pleasant with nice views of lavender bay. Being the end of May it was quite cool at night and there was only a plug in heater which did a reasonable job in the living room but the bedroom remained cold. The bedding was a bit light on but found a warm blanket in the cupboard and this helped but found it took ages to warm up in bed. This is the downside to staying near the harbour in the winter time.
Also to note on check-in a 1.5% surcharge was charged for paying by credit card.
Overall the apartment was great location wise and also quiet but too cold this time of year.

Perfectly situated absolute waterfront-facing the Harbour Bridge and Opera House, right on the harbour's edge at North Sydney …More
North Sydney is a compact secondary central business district. High-rise offices, cafés, restaurants, pubs, and a few small shopping malls dominate. Busy from Monday–Friday, it quiets down on weekends, but within 1 km is the relaxed, al fresco café, pub, and restaurant scene of Blues Point Road. Trendy Kirribilli is not much further away at the northern base of the Harbour Bridge.
