“Very reasonable, clean, pet friendly hotel”

Needed a pet friendly hotel right off of I-80 in North Platte for a one night restful stay enroute to Colorado. I was pleasantly surprised, the room was extremely clean and the continental breakfast was fine. The hotel staff member was very nice and extremely helpful. There aren't any amenities, except for an outdoor pool, which I did not use since it was October. If you are looking for a very reasonable, clean place to stay for a night or two, you can't beat this place. It's exterior doors provide easy access to get pets in and out of the hotel without disturbing other guests. I highly recommend this hotel.

Area recommendations
I really am not familiar with the city of North Platte. I stay there once or twice a year just overnight traveling from Wisconsin to Colorado & just arrive late in the evening and leave early the next morning. The area around the hotel (just adjacent to I-80) does have many restaurants and also has a hiking trail which goes around a small lake.

“Very disappointed”

The hotel was in a good location near major highways and restaurants. Check-in at the front desk went smoothly. Our first glitch was to get our door open with the key card. Once we got in, I opened the drapes to get some light in, but should've left them shut. The windows looked like they had not been washed in years. The bathroom was just as bad. The furnishings were fine, but the walls needed a paint job badly. The pool was covered and looked like it had been all summer. The outside of the building was freshly painted, but weeds were growing and trash littered the outside. The complimentary breakfast was adequate but offered little variety. The rate we were charged through Expedia was far higher than what was advertised on their sign. The hotel's rate was more in line with the accomodations. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
