We stayed for one night and I wanted to wake up in the grand for my birthday. We booked a harbour view room with my husband and mum. Fantastic upgrade to a suite and felt like royalty for the day. I have stayed at The Grand before and always a lovely experience if you go to Stockholm it's a must.

Used hotel as a base for 2 nights and 1 day in Stockholm. The location is incredible, right next tot he station, so you don't waste time with taxi's and buses to find your way. Breakfast buffet was one of the best we had on the trip, and the staff were friendly and helped us find the best local bars. The decor is interesting, an attempt to be colourful and modern, which I really liked!
Hotel: across the road from the central station for metro and airport shuttle, restaurants and bars nearby (including one attached to hotel), has a couple of saunas which you can book.
Room: free WiFi, clean and spacious, TV, microwave, fridge, kettle, restroom with shower. No safe - although there is a locked luggage room for all guests at lobby.
Lobby: complementary umbrellas to borrow, guest restroom, guest computer with printer, seating, secure luggage room.
Restaurant: connected to hotel, great selection at breakfast, also serves dinner and drinks.
General notes for tourists: the price of food in Sweden is quite high (similar to UK and France); the price of alcohol is much higher in Sweden due to it being taxed aggressively. Bottled water is also relatively expensive, usually 20-25 SEK per 500ml.
my friend and I booked a twin room. The room was tiny and was very hard for us to get ready each day. The wardrobe was the smallest I had ever seen. The choice at breakfast was good and catered for gluten free diets.
Right by central station makes it very convenient. Everywhere in Stockholm expensive so I think good for price there. No Windows's in some rooms is a bit claustrophobic. Bed was very comfortable. Room was clean and decorated well

This is Stockholm’s city center, making it one of the most convenient places to stay. It’s home to the Central Station, Stockholm’s most famous park, Kungsträdgården, and Sergels Torg (think Times Square or Piccadilly Circus). The Royal Opera House and Hötorget symphony hall are also here. Shoppers flock to NK, Sweden's answer to Harrod's.
