“Great, quiet location!”

Hotel Room and parking better this stay then in the past. Food at the restaurant wasn,t so good.

“Old, outdated, dirty”

Very convenient location. However, hotel is old and unkept. It is dirty and needs updating badly. I would not stay there again unless and until it is updated and cleaned up.

“Nice Hotel”

A little bit of maintenance work would be perfect in order to keep the good environment that this hotel has. We did have a good time and one of the best customer service that I've seen in a while!

“Fall Getaway”

The rooms were clean, but old. The balcony door needed repair. The staff was very helpful. Overall my stay was very pleasant. We stayed on the 10th floor.

“Surf Club Ocean Grill has the best food”

The food and presentation at the Surf Club Ocean Grill was superior. The meals were so delicious and not run of the mlll hotel fare. My husband, who was a chef for a general in the military and is a wonderful cook, said that it would be worth going back just for the food!.

“Not impressed”

The furniture was badly scratched up like they just picked it up off the side of the road my room phone didn’t work the ceiling had mold on it and also it was chipped and coming off in 3 different places, the bathroom tub was permanently stained and the door handle was hanging. the maids were completely unprofessional. For what I paid for this room I got completely ripped off!!! Oh and I rate it a 1!!

“wyndam not impressed”

The room was outdated, sliding door to exterior was broken with a latch lock (unsafe), internet wifi access was horrible(not at all). last 2 days did not have hot water. t.v was from early 90's and had no remote. the hotel to far from the boardwalk and from any walking attractions. The air conditioning was horrible and was so loud made it very hard to sleep or even watch tv.

“I won't consider it for next time”

The staff at the check in was not welcoming and caring. in general, not a good customer service. The building was so old and not maintend good.

“nice hotel, but a bit rough round the edges”

We stayed at the Wyndham for 4 nights. At first i was very disappointed, we were in the east block, which had a very dated 'kids club', on the ground floor, and no apparent working A/C on in the hallway. When we got to the elevator we waited 10 minutes and still nothing came (we were on the 4th floor). We eventually got to our room, after carrying our heavy bags up the stairs. Our room was bright and airy and really quite large with a balcony overlooking the pool. The decor was a bit outdated, and the wallpaper was coming away from the wall at one part. A bit of the enamel from the bath was coming away too. After i got over the disappointment of expecting something more upmarket for the price we paid, we actually saw it for what it was;a beach side hotel. The beach was right out front, and it was slightly north of the heaving crowds on the beach further south. which was nice. I would recommend this hotel, but don`t expect luxury.It is on the beach after all, and you`ll be spending most of your time there.

Dining

Waterside Grill was delicious, as was the Rockefeller on Rudee Inlet.
