“Basic but Functional”

Hotel has seen better days but value for money and location are all OK.

“More than I expected.”

After reading previous reviews I really wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised! People just don't give credit where credit is due. I found the place very clean and comfortable, sure it may needed a few repairs here and there (broken light switch, small hole in wall, broken clock) but so does everyone's home, I'm sure. I got a great deal on the room and only a block away from the ocean. The rooms were cleaned everyday and the personnel were very friendly. I really couldn't have asked for anything more in a room for vacation.

“Budget bonus”

If you are on a budget this hotel will work for you. It's an older place but renovations have taken place. If you're going for romance, this won't be the place to go but for a good night's sleep it's just fine.

“Accaptable for the money!”

Good location. Good staff... Safe... But it has been smoked a lot in rooms. If you don't want to spend much visiting Virginia Beach, it is the right place.

“1/2 block from the beach”

We were pleasantly surprised about the location of the hotel and surrounding activities, ie shopping, entertainment etc. The rooms were clean and very well maintained. The staff was informative and helpful!

“This hotel will find a way to charge you extra money STAY AWAY”

This hotel was filthy, the hot water heater made a loud banging noise when you turned on the water and the manager said "all houses do that", Well mine doesnt. This hotel is very poorly maintained and the staff are extremely rude. Price was cheap but definatly not worth it as they will try to charge you more money somehow. When lodging my complaint the staff spoke in a foriegn langauge in front of me so I could not understand them. The housekeepers stole drinks out the refridgerator. This hotel should not be allowed to operate.

“I would go back.”

It was an excellent stay. When we first arrived, there was a little confusion about our room because they were changing shifts and the woman at the desk accidently gave us a room that was in the midst of being clean. However, that was quickly taken care of, and we were immediatly placed in a new, very clean room. The rooms were actually quite modern looking. For the price I paid and the stay, it was great.

JUST TERRIBLE!!! I will never rent a room at the hotel again. *smelled like urine *ceiling leaked *not like the pics posted on expedia

“Budget Friendly Alternative”

When booking a hotel for one night at the beach prior to 4th of July weekend I had 3 conditions. Must have a pool, must have free Internet, must have A/C. The 4th condition, flexible, was pricing. This hotel managed to fit the bill. I wouldn't stay there for more than 2 nights. This hotel is definitely for those on a budget. The room was clean when we arrived. The Internet worked, the A/C worked, and the pool was right below our room. We only used it briefly because it became very crowded with other guests, the pool area is definitely on the small side. The continental breakfast is simply cereal and maybe some fruit. It is served in the small, hot lobby where the smell of garbage is definitely present. We did not partake of this offer. However, I definitely recommend the hotel for a family on a budget and a short stay.
