Not bad for the money but could be better

HIGH FLOOR WITH CEANFRONT VIEW-VERY SPACIOUS AND SLEPT VERY WELL-ONE NIGHT STAY AND WOULD DEFINETLY GO BACK FOR ANOTHER VISIT

“Cheap...you get what you paid for!”

The bathroom was tiny and disgusting! I normally can let stuff go but the shower curtain had stains all over it. I took a shower with my flip flops on. I couldn't sit on the couch becuase it had stains all over it too. The AC worked great and the view was amazing. The lobby across the elevator was disgusting along with the elevator itself. Wouldn't stay here again.

“Great price, location, size & ammenities but lousy Internet, slow elevator”

Came to stay for 4th of July weekend - 3 nights. Va beach is a crazy busy place with people everywhere & a crowded beach. The hotel location was in the middle of everything (food, free street entertainment, beach) and the room was beach front. You can't get any better for the price. If you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs as the bedrooms face Atlantic Ave and it's noisy during the summer. Internet service was spotty, kinda slow, and at times didn't work at all. Room was very clean, super comfortable, great Air conditioning, and they even give you extra pillows in the hall closet! Bathroom is small but how much time do you really spend on the toilet? Elevator was hot and slow but again, how much time do you really spend in a hotel elevator? The stairs are only 20 feet away and kept clean & bright. Parking at the hotel is free but be sure to check in at 4 pm or you'll get a sucky parking space. I would go again & stay at this hotel but not during a major summer holiday. Nose from other rooms was OK/not too bad.

“for the price i would stay again”

Just bring every thing you need for the kitchen and have a good time! My next vist will be for fun. For that price i can stand a small bath room,i am not going to live there just have fun. My room was clean and i could see the ocean.

“no backup generators, watch out, be prepared with your own lights”

not happy with the way the situation was handled, as listed below. Also bring your own ice, they advertise 2 ice machines but they haven't worked last 3 times i've stayed there, and i've stayed there 3 times since new years this year.

“can't beat it for the price”

great location, we visited in april so rates were great. it is an older building and could use some updating. staff were friendly. we stayed 3 nights and towels were provided 2 nd day, no other housekeeping done. last day garbage emptied and clean towels were left. didn't try microwave till last morning and found it didn't work. beds were comfy,room clean on arrival. yes the bathroom is very small, can't sit straight on the toilet if you are tall! kept the door open as it felt like being shut in a closet! that being said, it was great to have the living room space with sofa and chairs. there is an oceanfront (small) balcony . we loved to sit here and see the boardwalk and beach. breakfast is what you'd expect, get there early before it's all gone! you get what you pay for and you can't get a better location to everything. we would stay again with just my husband and i. we had 2 double beds and i think if there would have been 2 more people it would have been too small. perfect getaway for 2, we will comeback .

“not impressed”

There was only 1 elevator that only could fit 6 people and there was like a hole where you can tell people stood most of the time and the door would open and close before it would stay shut to get to your room. They had a heater on the balcony so when it came on you could not even sit out there. And the bathroom toilet was so close to the tub that your knees it the tub. It was ok for the price but i would not return again.
