“BEST Hotel at the Oceanfront!!!!!”

I've stayed in several hotels over the years and this is by far The Best I've Ever had the privilege of staying at. The staff was the most courteous, plesant individuals and every single one of them we encountered should train other "customer service" people in the business. They represent how everyone in our population should be treated with the utmost respect!! Our room had such a wonderfully clean fresh smell the minute we walked through the door as well as the elevator and our room. The breakfast in the morning was so much more than we expected. The indoor swimming pool was a big hit with our kids! Our room was so clean I didn't even give one thought of worry allowing my 9 month to crawl around on the carpet. I will absolutely without a doubt stay at Spring Hills Marriott again and recommend to anyone if asked of a suggested hotel at he Virginia beach oceanfront. My only gripe, as we all can have one, is the poor Internet service in our room (7th floor). Any other location we gathered around a great signal was gained.

“Beautiful view of the ocean”

This stay was exactly what we wanted. The room was wonderful, the view was great and the hotel staff was very attentive. Breakfast buffet with a view was a GREAT bonus! Can't wait for next vacation!

“Nice hotel, nice location, will return”

Nice room suite, staff friendly. Location was great valet parking, stores directly across from hotel. Indoor pool kind of small but big ocean a few feet away!!! Loved it

“Best Hotel in Virginia Beach!”

Recently stayed three nights for a long beach weekend. Loved the hotel! The room was large, clean and very comfortable. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. The pool and pool bar were also great - lounge chairs were easy to get by the pool and the drinks and food at the bar were yummy. Two very minor nits - the breakfast bar needs another toaster and the elevators are a bit slow and can get crowded (particularly at checkout time). All and all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return next time we're in Virginia Beach.

“Nice for families, I would stay again.”

If you are looking for luxury, I wouldn't start here but this is a PERFECT family place. I would recommend it to anyone traveling with kids. Also, the breakfast was....more than a muffin:)

“Wonderful place for our family. Great beach, boardwalk & best ocean experience.”

We enjoyed the beautiful hotel, great breakfasts, pool, hot tub, and the view of the ocean. Great beach and ocean access. Convient shopping and eating places within walking distance. Staff very friendly and helpful. Paige and Jay at the front desk treated us like friends. Can't wait to return.

We enjoyed the shops across the street. They are very reasonable and staffed with friendly people.

“very nice stay”

Great hotel, great location and very nice room. The only thing was there were not supplies (dishes, silver wear, glasses)..these things weren't promised, but since it was a room with a "kitchenette area" and cupboards, we thought they would be there... pool was awesome and the beach was great...even in March!

“Great Experience”

Stayed 4 weeknights during Labor Day week with my wife and 2 daughters, aged 3 yrs and 8 months. Almost everything about this place was great for us. Breakfast was high end continental / low end buffet, but plenty of variety and quality, no reason to go elsewhere. Only complaint is that its over at 9:30 on weekdays, i think 10 on weekends. Indoor pool and hot tub and exercise room are nice. Outdool pool and hot tub was wonderful with full bar. Drinks are high, but who cares, its vacation. Think the bar has limited food, as well. Our queen / queen suite was not two full rooms, rather one (admittedly large) room with a partition wall between the "living room" and the bedroom. Also these are the smallest "queens" ever, more like oversized twins. But very comfortable. Lots of pillows. Also room contained a microwave, minifridge, and sink. No silverware or plates at all. This was not a big concern for use, though, as there are lots of great restaurants within 4 blocks either way on the boardwalk. These are the only complaints I can think of. The place is great and I can highly recommend it.

“Beautiful view”

Definitely recommend...they even have waffles for breakfast, free valet and very convenient
