“"Will Go Back Again"”

This was a great hotel. My family (6 of us) and I stayed in a suite at this hotel, and we loved it! It was Very clean, Great staff, Great location, and was wonderful for a vacation. We went there the day after Thanksgiving, and stayed for 3 nights. I would encourage you to stay at this hotel on your next vacation!

Per par to not have a parking space if they book a wedding or some other function when you are there. The food was nothing to come back to. The staff was very friendly , pleasant and accommodating. As long as you don't mind piles of dust around the edges of the floor , corners , and behind furniture then it is a very clean hotel. Though the intervention of Expedia my stay was made a lot more pleasant.

“Can't Wait to Go back. Again and again!”

I was very happy with the hotel mgmt and the staff. I had requested a suite w/beach front and balcony but was afraid of my baby climbing, so they gave me a suite with a patio... It was like a paradise. The room was well appointed and clean. Room service came to make beds, clean and replenish toilettries daily. I felt the air wasn't clean and Mgmt. sent a technician right away to check and change the filters, resolved. Unfortunately, the only downside for the room was in the early am. when the AC unit would get loud for a few minutes, didn't like waking up to the noise, but this is a manufacturing issue, so there was no way to fix that. Check for rooms with AC's outside the main bedroom. Breakfast is free for children: It was plentiful, delicious, and service was quick and courteous. However, be early, I noticed a wait for people who came in after 9; as early risers we never had to wait. Lunch/dinner were also free for children at the Square Whale, and I was not impressed with their menu/food. If you are looking for quick service sandwiches and salads is fine, if you want a real dinner you might have to rely on the provided guide and coupon book for good deals. My 6 year-old son loved the kid's club, which is complimentary!! Unfortunately we only used it once during our stay. They also provide a "Pool Fun Hour" from 3-4pm and everyone joined in. The area was quiet, it felt private and upscale, a plus for families! Loved Nightly street shows, the clean beach, and sand!

“Great hotel for family with 3 or 4 kids!”

This is a really good hotel to go to with a big family. Lots of things to do for kids. Pretty and relaxing atmosphere for adults. We liked it a lot and will go back next year.

“The best hotel ever”

The hotel has so many activities for kids and adults. Having different resturants located inside the hotel helped a lot. Kids eat free was the best part.

“Loved our stay!”

My husband, myself, and our 2 kids, 6 and 8, stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were attractive and comfortable. Everything you might need was in the room--minifridge, mircrowave, an abundance of towels, pillows, etc. The staff was super friendly. Prices were reasonable. Washer and dryer use was free. Three different restaurants--and kids eat free! The Splash Kamp that they offer for chilren is fabulous! We literally had to drag our kids out of there. And they have a mini movie theater with great movies showing each day! The location on the beach was fabulous too! My only complaint, and I don't think this is only true for this hotel, is that the rooms could have been a little more sound proofed from the fighter jets outside at all hours of the day. Don't get me wrong. I loved watching them fly over during the day. I just didn't love hearing them while trying to sleep. Honestly, I am not sure how much more the hotel could have done to prevent it, but it was a tad annoying. Overall, we were thrilled with this hotel and would go back again and again and recommend it to others!

“Great Virginia Beach vacation spot!”

What a great vacation spot. We had a 2 queen bed suite. Perfect size for our family of 4. Great things for kids to do beside pools & beach. Although those were spectacular as well. Great restaurant/ bar by pool. Avoid the breakfast in hotel restaurant. To many others to compete with. Better off going off site. We will definitely be going back there for trips to the beach in the future!

“Very Impressed”

My husband and I went for the long Memorial day weekend. The hotel staff was polite and very helpful. The waitress came by the pool and took drink & food orders. I didn't have the get up not once. It was as if I was on a island without the island price tag. The beach front view was breath taking. The hotel is a little distance from the strip but for $1you can take the bus. I'm planning on returning with the kids in August.

“North End Retreat”

Stayed there 20 years ago and the rooms and decor have been upgraded yet the old beach feel is still there. Quiet enough if you like it that way yet only a walk to music and events. The rooms are terrific,pools were terrific, the people are friendly, and it was a lovely getaway. The new bar was a great place to relax on the oceanfront. The bartender even found my Grey Goose. Thank You for a wonderful stay.
