“would stay again.”

Rooms were very clean as were the beds however I did not think much of the pillows but I could live with that. It was good and I would recommend this to people, some other people we were with stay at less expensive hotel and were not very pleased. well worth the extra $20.00.

“Can't wait to go back at VA Beach, VA”

Love the end of that part of beach. Hotel was clean and had its own parking deck which was a plus. Beds and room very nice. Highly recommend.

“Switch from Hampton North was surprise - ended up ok”

The visit started out on a bad note as I had intended to book a room in the Hampton North location - I remember seeing online that the place I was booking was right next to the Neptune statue which I was really looking forward to. So it was a total shock to learn I was instead in the South building. After adjusting to that, things were fine. We found the room to be nicely furnished, perhaps a little small. Didn't get maid service unless we talked to someone in the hallway to request it. Also one of their 2 elevators was often down, which caused a lot of delays. But overall, these were small things and we had a great time and would probably stay there again.

“Hated to leave”

Loved this hotel and the location. Was only there for one night with my family and hated to leave. Hopefully will be able to go back for a longer time and would love to have the same room!

“Ocean View”

The hotel staff was very friendly and rooms are clean and comfortable, how ever the two queen bed room was very very tight. We were only 2 people so it worked out but if you plan on staying 4 people note that you will have zero space for suitcases or to walk/ sit down other then on the beds. It is a very small space. The balcony is also small but enough for 2 people, if you re 4 plan to stand up... The breakfast buffet was not very good. The restaurant in the building was great but service was lacking. No quick lunches here, make sure to set aside a good 1-2 for lunch.. they are Sloooow. Over all a good experience but if we go back to VA Beach we will stay at the North end of the Beach closer Neptune Park and the nicer restaurants.

“Virginia Beach Gem”

The Hampton Inn Oceanfront and 11th Street was very clean, the room could have been a little larger but it was ok. The breakfast each morning was great with a lot of selections. The staff was very friendly and ready to help. Coffee bar 24 hours a day was fresh and never ran out. The southern end of the beach where this hotel is located is the best part of the beach. Overall I would stay here again. Good expierence.

“Going Back next Year and each year after”

We had a very clean room on the 2nd floor and the only complaint was that our balcony overlooked the rooftop of the restaurant below and it had cigarette butts and litter that people had discarded from upper floor balconies. We still had a decent view of the boardwalk and the beach. The naval base had jets flying overhead all day so if you don't like loud sonic booms, this isn't the beach for you. The hotel staff was courteous, helpful and the hotel was very good value. The breakfast was okay but not gourmet in any sense. Pre formed omeletes, odd looking sausage links, but nonetheless, tasted fine. My kids had fesh made waffles each morning. Absolutely nothing but compliments about the room and staff and the location was great. We'll be heading back next year with more friends to be certain.

“excellent location”

Well located by the beach, boardwalk, pier, restaurants, & boat tours! Great breakfast buffet and beachside bar & grille. Beautiful ocean view from room. Sure wish we could have used the outdoor pool that actually belongs to another hotel (we snuck in a couple of times anyway). Indoor pool OK during bad weather, but it is small. Nice staff & friendly fellow vacationers ! Should do something about the local teenagers hanging around in the evenings, if you want to continue attracting families.

“Will be back!”

Awesome hotel! Very clean, heaven beds, duvets and sheets (slept like home). Our room was cleaned every day, hotel staff very friendly and professional. The breakfast is the best, so much variety, very tasty and having coffee all the time throughout the day is so good! Will be coming back to Hampton Inn Oceanfront South! Hopefully until next time will be Wi Fi in the rooms (at least we had downstairs).
