“Okay....”

Okay front people, not too friendly, just doing what needs to be done. Housekeeping not so friendly--just wanted to know when I was going to check out in the morning. Flimsy bathtub with bad tile on the bathroom floor. The area behind the toilet was not cleaned (rm 310). Went ot eat at Catch 31 one night at the Hilton. Food was good but slightly overpriced. Try Leaping Lizard off of Shore Drive (worth the drive) for a nice light lunch.

“Great Stay!”

Great views, clear days saw many dolphins, FeFe was great soon as I entered hotel, she knew all the great eating places. Free breakfast was great everyday thanks to Richard and his staff, wonderful waffles with fresh fruit! North Beach Bar&Grill downstairs has best biggest full of flavor peel&eat shrimp for a great price! Housekeeping was pleasant each day. Great time of the year not a lot of hussle&bussle very well needed relaxing stay!

“Virginia Beach”

The air conditioner in the room was so noisy that we couldn't use it. Fortunately, the time of year allowed us to leave the sliding glass door open to cool the room a night. A refrigerator and safe inn the room would have been really nice. The facility and people were very nice. The room was clean and well kept. The staff was very hospitible.

The beach/board walk and Atlantic Avenue were quite nice.

“Virginia Beach Value”

I was very happy with the weekend stay my wife and I had recently. The Hampton Inn is ideally located and all rooms face the ocean. The included breakfast was substantial and the hotel desk personnel helpful in recommending restaurants. Would definitely stay there again.

“will be returning to this hotel next year.”

We received the keys to our room in exceptional time. When enertering the room it was very orderly, clean, and at a desired room temperature. Our dinner at their diner room was very satisfactory and prepared to our liking. The breakfast in the morning, which was included with the price, was a full breakfast and well prepared. As much as you wanted to eat. The view from the balcomny was a FULL view of the ocean. The following day our room was cleaned, change of sheets and towels, and prepared as if we had just arrived. The staff was polite, courtess, and friendly. In error we left some clothes behind which was packaged and shipped to our home. would recommend to all of our friends and family.

Virginia Beach on the boardwalk. Very clean, many attractions, and excellent dinning. Friendly atmosphere, and excellent view of the ocean.

“Enjoyed the stay”

The elevator needed maintenance, it sounded like it needed to be oiled!! Other than that, it was a lovely room, very comfortable.

“Convenient beach hotel”

I booked this hotel so I could be close to the happenings at Virginia Beach. I would consider using this hotel again. The only downside is that I booked a room with a hot tub. The water in the hot tub did not get warm enough to soak in and my romantic evening was ruined.

“Great Ocean Front Hotel”

My wife, kids and I had a great time at the Hampton. We had the ground level oceanfront room and LOVED every moment in the hotel. The room was clean and spacious, including the large bathroom. The breakfast buffet was very diverse and tasty. We could walk out of our room and be on the beach in a minute. The location was near many restaurants and stores. The pool and hot tub were great and well-maintained. My kids loved the location on the beach with the boardwalk just outside our window and the nearby playground. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to spend a few wonderful days on Virginia Beach.

“Location, location, but just location”

This is a decent hotel, ideally located at the north end of Virginia Beach. The rooms are clean, very well equiped, well maintained, and with an amazing ocean view. The staff are extremely nice and helpful. There are some significant negatives, however. First, it is probably overpriced (the nearby Hilton is not much more expensive, and is a quantum leap better); second, the complimentary breakfast is an absolute shame (the most disgusting collection of cheap calories/fat invented by mankind... I did not try the restaurant/bar... but it looked pretty awful as well); third, the ventilation system in my room was very noisy, which is fine if like me, you spend a lot of time in 747's over the Atlantic, but may be testing for the nerves of less traveled guests. Overall, go there if you really cannot afford the 50-100 extra bucks a night for the Hilton.
