“Cheted by Promotions”

I booked this hotel with the promotion of kids under 8 eat free. I have a 3 and a 6 year old and we only eat once in the hotel. I charged the bill to the room, so I will have the option to use the promotion. At check out through the phone they said they are not going to charge for the two kids meals. Obviously they did, so I called the hotel and the person on the phone told me she is going to check with expedia and will call me back. She never did. It is not about the $16, but if you do a promotion than stick to it. I just cannot trust places where they cheat on the customers.

Food was FABULOUS! Hotel staff was AMAZING! Spa was GORGEOUS! Pool was PERFECT! We took both our children and it was the best vacation we have had so far!

“Beautiful Experience”

The hotel exceeded our expectations, the grounds and buildings were beautiful. This is a very romantic and lovely location; my husband and I are already looking forward to our next visit. The staff was the friendliest I've ever incurred, I could not beleive how wonderful everyone was.

“Simply Amazing....”

I decided to take a vacation with a few friends and just get out of NY for a little while. After researching and viewing many hotels in the VA beach area I came across Founders Inn and Spa. We checked in a 2 am (got a late start) and slept until about 10 after waking up I decided to explore the Inn. It was beautiful with well kept garden/walk area. There is a spa out back which is reasonably priced and very professional. There are a few pool (indoor/outdoor), a hot tub, a pub/fine dining area which was very good both in atmosphere and food. Founders in close enough to the beach and tourist areas but far enough out to allow some peace and quiet when needed. The rooms were very nice with nice carpet, clean bathrooms, a large LCD HD tv, two comfy queen sized beds and an amazing/friendly/professional cleaning staff. This was hands down the best inn/hotel I have ever stayed in by far and this is not the first nice place have stayed at. Simply amazing; if you have some extra cash step it up with this amazing Inn. I would also suggest it for a romantic get away, nice area and the spa will impress any woman.

Went to use restaurant facilities and they did not mention at front desk that the restaurant would not be serving a full menu until Thursday night and I checked in on a Sunday. The pub staff was very accomadating and pulled a meal together for me. Front desk lacked personality.

“Great experience”

The facility was very clean and everything was in perfect working order. We stayed in winter so we did not get to fully enjoy the grounds, but they were quite attractive. The staff was very friendly, polite, and helpful. The hotel is located conveniently off I-64 and access to everything we needed. it is not close to the beach (walking distance) but you can get there in a short time. It is a little dated, but that is part of its charm. The three of us (two adults, one 3 year old child) were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. I would definitely stay here again. We got a fantastic deal probably due to the season but it would be worth the normal price on Expedia for sure.

“Blizzard in VA Beach”

I arrived there during the a blizzard. Was looking to get away, and it was the perfect place. Great spa!

If you love spicy/Indian food, definitely check out Saffron.

“Regent University Hotel”

A nice inn hotel with a lovely location, particularly if you are visiting Regent University. Did not have time to check out the spa facilities - they looked quite nice.
