Although you may be able to find better rates, this hotel by Marriot proved to be a pleasurable experience. The Continental Breakfast was of good quality, the hotel personnel were polite and efficient. My room was clean and the usual complimentary toiletries were satisfactory. I stayed two nights and would do so again.

Convenient to the Greenbriar area of Chesapeake. There are quite a few good restaurants close by as well as a large Mall.

“Ok but other choices in the area”

Chose a non-smoking room but the room smelled like smoke. The front desk person was more interested in her friends visiting than the guests

“Very average but at least it was cheap”

The beds were hard, the parking lot was small, the TV was fuzzy and the breakfast area was so small I had to eat standing up. I also asked that my room not be serviced by housekeeping but that request was not honored. Overall it wasn't horrible but it wasn't nice either. I only stayed there because the hotels I prefer were all booked up. At least it was cheap.

“Never Using Again!”

Will not be using this hotel chain again. Reserved five room, only four were initially avaiable. Requested nonsmoking doubles; were given smoking rooms, even though they were paid for in advance. Tried to fumeragate the room which added to the smell and discomfort. Most of the doubles were not available so had to accept king room. Requested wake-up call and overslept. Staff stated they called but no one answered; didn't try again?? Was late to a meeting because of this! The breakfast was good but not worth all the troubles. Too many issues at one time to overlook!
