“Was magical waking up to the sun rising.”

Room was average but clean. Walls too thin for me, was quite noisy, had to wear my ear plugs the two nights I stayed which meant I didnt get to listen to the ocean when I went to bed. Being on the ocean front was fab, couldnt have asked for a better view and that is why I chose the hotel. Breakfast was adequate.

“I have stayed at better hotels”

Hotel is very convenient to all shopping and beach. Parking is very poor and limited. The rooms are spacious, however they desperately need to be updated. Bathrooms are way too small. The concrete on the balcony is chipping away and the rails are too far apart. We had our little girl with us and she could actually fit through them. We had ants all around the doorway to the balcony, although someone did come and spray for them while we were in the room of all things. This definitely isn't a hotel I will stay at again especially for the price we paid.

“hotel is alright”

The hotel was alright, it was loud with the show were right beside us, it was alot of boom boom with the lil fake canon goin off, but the hotel staff was nice and accomdated us with anything we needed

“Had a great visit”

We only had a short time in Virginia Beach, but the Days Inn fit what we were looking for. Great location overlooking the the beach! Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was adequate to start the day. We did not spend much time outside of sleeping at the hotel, as we spent time on the beach and local attractions, so I don't know much about the other ammenities. We originally booked at the Days Inn because we wanted an indoor pool, but becuase of the hot weather, we never made it in.

“It was just Ok...”

Great location but nothing exciting about the hotel. Bed was comfortable so that was a plus but bathroom really needed some work. The tub was very stained and appeared dirty so we didn't even want to use it. The room could really use some touchups and even some renovating.

“Days Inn 24th street”

Nice hotel next the the 24th street stage. First night we had to park behind the building across the street in the hotel's overflow parking lot. Wasn't very happy about that but a minor issue. Everything else was preety much what you would expect from a Days Inn.

Parking was a hassal and a inconviennce, beds were like sleeping on a board with springs popping through, and the light in the room had a short; it kept flickering on and off

“Plesantly Surprised”

Booked hotel online. Have only seen this hotel in passing. We stayed for 5 nights for a symposium in Norfolk. It was only a 20 min drive to Norfolk and I-264 was convenient to the hotel. Room was clean and beds very comfortable. Ocean view was outstanding. Will probably stay here next year at symposium.

“DIRTY AND RUDE!”

The staff was rude later on in my stay when i was totally ticked off that a visitor whom showed up with a case of beer to visit a guest at the hotel got to park in the lot over myself who had a room and was paying over the amt it was worth a nite, i found the manager was the staff that was rude to me upon ckin. Anyway the bed was horrid and sunken in the middle, the bedspread was dirty, there was sand in the carpet and in the tissue holder in the bathroom, the shower curtin was too short for the area and water got all over the floor, pillows were aweful, the couch was dirty and smelled and sunken in the middle. Not much but the view was appealing and we will never stay at this hotel again and might stay away from Days Inn period after this horrible weekend. Also the security guard didnt do his job either then argued with me when i asked him why there were over 10 cars w/o tags in them! We had our tag in our window so we didnt get towed but i guess others had special privledges!
