“Perfect Location for Convention Center Events”

Came into town for the Surf-n-Santa 10M run. Perfect location. Was able to easily walk to the convention center and nearby restaurants, The off-season is the perfect time for a visit to the beach for a walk on the boardwalk. Enjoyed the heated indoor pool, the view of the Christmas lights and the front-row seat for the parade.

“Virginia Beach in the fall”

We just returned this trip and overall it's what we needed. Intially we loved where we were. It was a perfect view of the beach. Dead center of the boardwalk. The was the "Chistmas lights" the whole boardwalk was decorated and lite up at night for people to drive. That was fun to watch. The hotel itself was nice for the price at this time of year. The breakfast was awesome, I have to say. We've done a lot of place that come with a complimentary breakfast, this was one of the better. I could complain about some of the stuff, like there was a leak in our room or the paint was a little peeling and the indoor pool could have been cleaner.. but really, again, we needed to get away and this was worth what we paid at this time. The other other thing was the fighter planes, which I had read from others reviews and sure enough they did fly overhead and they were loud. They flew up until 10pm. So taking an afternoon nap was out of the question. Mind you we had the door open to the balcony as we wanted to hear the ocean and it was warm for this time, but those dang planes. I know they're practicing and protecting. But that was a downside. Overall it was good for what we wanted it for. We did day trips to Willamsburg and also the winery and the aquarium... had a great time!

“Very impressive - a great experience”

Excellent location and excellent hotel - well worth the money spent. The cleaning staff were friendly and helpful - many to be found. A nice place for the family or a couple - recommended.

“great long weekend”

My family and I had a great weekend stay here for Columbus Day. It was so nice to sit on our balcony and enjoy the view. The complimentary breakfast was great too. All employees were courteous and helpful. Would love to return someday.

check in was super easy and quick. Room was very clean, had excellent view of beach and ocean. Only stayed overnight but wished we could have stayed longer. Free continental breakfast was well stocked and not crowded. Would definitely stay again.

“Nice Place”

The location was wonderful and the breakfast was great.......The staff at the front desk was wonderful...the housekeepers and what appeared to be the boss we not friendly at all and she was yelling at one of her workers right in the hallway. The beds were comfortable and clean and the room was spotless. The bathroom was in disrepair and needed some help........but the overall feeling was good

“high up”

Expedia did a great job for us. the hotel was just fine. the only thing we had to adjust to was the parking garage, which was nice, but rather difficult to get to the top floor. I would stay there again. Thanks to all and to you EXPEDIA

“Great hot breakfast variety”

We stayed for one week and had a fine experience. The staff were friendly and qualified. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. In house restaurant had good food. The hot breakfast was always good.
