Quiet friendly hotel in lovely surroundings

Large clean en-suite room in excellent decorative condition and tastefully furnished. Good heating and plenty of hot water. Very comfortable bed. Friendly helpful staff. Hotel and grounds beautifully presented. Pleasant walks nearby and only a short drive to local towns. Good value for money.

Return Visit

Posted 23-Dec-2014
Pros: Ground floor accommodation
We stayed for the weekend whilst visiting family and found the Rectory to be as good as our previous visit. Bedroom good size with plenty of hangers in the wardrobe and drawer space. Food and service excellent. Fresh nice big towels changed daily. A very good point about this hotel is that all the rooms are on the ground floor. Certainly will have another visit

Beautiful grounds and comfortable rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good to stay somewhere that wasn't a chain. Good choice of breakfasts.

Prima locatie goede bedden

Prima verblijf.

Room was lovely & big, with huge bed. Immaculately clean. Excellent shower. Very pleasant service. Dinners, "Table D'Hote" in particular which changes daily, good value if you want to eat in, with Conveniently located for Broads to the east & North Norfolk.

Great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our five days here. The hotel is well situated for visiting all the many sites around The Broads. The restaurant offers great value and lovely fresh food. The amenities on offer are excellent and even include an outdoor swimming pool and relaxing seating to enjoy an evening drink in the gardens. The staff are very helpful and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Thoroughly recommend for a relaxing break.

Excellent

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful pool and grounds were immaculately kept and so relaxing. The food was lovely, always served quickly and piping hot. The hotel was spotlessly clean and welcoming. The only criticism of our whole stay, is of the pillows, which were very flat and firm, however this can be easily rectified.
