The location was perfect however our room was a complete let down. The radiator didn’t work and instead we had a portable electric heater which gave us the heat however at night we wouldn’t use it and on one night we wake up cold it was good the weather improved for our stay. However we hardly slept as the bed was very uncomfortable and squeaks every time you moved. To get any hot water you would have to leave the water running for at 7minutes to get any but often no pressure so it wouldn’t push through to the shower. On the positive side the staff was all fantastic very friendly and helpful and they did offer to move us when spoke to them.

Thank you for your review. You were placed in a super king instead of a double. Yes the super king are two singles zip linked to make a bigger bed this is standard in all hotels so they can accommodate for singles or superior beds.

Short overnight stay with friends. Clean, comfortable beds, staff friendly and informative. Only very small issues with water temperature as it was tricky to regulate but manageable Easy access to everything we wanted to do in Great Yarmouth. Would stay again. Thanks

Me and my partner stayed here over the weekend and we were very impressed by how lovely the reception lady called michelle was. She made us feel very welcome and had a laugh with her! Room was lovely, tidy, clean and great location! Would definitely stay again!

NOT good value for money
Even though hotels.com said we could check in at 2pm we could not until 3pm. The room was up 2 flights of stairs ( no lift ) and I was on crutches due to an injury. The room 215 was a bit too small for a double room, not very clean floor. The longe was lovely though but drinks too expensive

The hotel was lovely reception staff very helpful and friendly there was only 2 things that happend one was the beds thay need to keep a check on what rooms are double beds and single beds that needs to be updated and the restaurant food is absolutely lovely only one thing let them down was breakfast time so many people not happy how thay do the breakfast you need some one to keep an eye on all the food as it runs out very fast but we'll done to all the staff will definitely be coming back for another stay

staff nice room clean that's the good part The bad part no lifts no food for us and only one plug socket in the room. Had wifi when you can get it. Very poor it took 15-45 mins to load if it loaded

Bed was so uncomfortable pillows were hard we arrived 2.30 to be told we could not check in until 3 though specified 2 on website we were told she was going off shift so had to wait in bar area. When requested a drink their was no bar staff the receptionist huffily poured us a drink . I did not shower as bathroom was old dated and dirty looking will not stay again

We do inform guests that check in is from 15.00pm as housekeeping need time to thoroughly clean and we do not ask guests to leave till 11am.The pillows are choice brand standard.

Think they should drop the C in comfort
Very disappointed, stayed in 5 yarmouth hotels this year and ghis by far is the worst. In fact in in my top 3 worst ever. After checking in trying to drag a heavy case through a corridor laden with used linen. Head board not screwed to the wall, shower to hot or to cold and wouldnt stay in shower head bracket, noisy neighbours no courteous to other guests 2am paper thin walls, and only 1 double plug in the room. So tv, hairdryer, kettle and 2 mobile phone chargers was an issue. Same problem in corridor checking out at 10am.

Awful stay, would not recommend this hotel to anyone! Fire alarms were constantly going none stop, Fire exit at front of hotel was locked so you couldn’t get out!

Do not stay.
The pictures are not accurate. The room I stayed in was horrendous! The place was filthy, stains on the floor, toilet roll over the floor in the main room not the bathroom! Shower was dirty. The worst place I have ever stayed in, would not ever recommend.

Room was very nice. All staff were friendly and accommodating. Only problem was the breakfast, wasn’t that great, not very clear how to get it, and didn’t get half of what we ordered. But apart from that was an enjoyable stay and will definitely stay again. Also lovely garden outside with chickens which the children loved.
