It is a very good hotel in a safe area within walking distance to restaurants and shops. The room and facilities are excellent. All the hotel personnel are professional and friendly.

Services in general ok ….food acceptable , people serving food very serios faces compared to people working in reception and those cleaning our room … . Size of the room tiny compared with what they show online and for the price …. Noise a bit to much … Hand soap mixed with water … I would rate our experience staying at this hotel as 6 or 7 . Position of hotel Amaizing. Overall experience ok Some improvements needed asap

Summary. Great Affordable Hotel Better for Short Stays.----------Pros: Modern mid-range hotel within easy walking distance to dining, shopping, and historic district. Staff was particularly friendly and helpful and recognized our Orbitz VIP status with two complimentary glasses of wine. spacious and quick elevator made moving luggage to room an easy process. Great WIFI allowed easy upload of hundreds of pictures and stream movie simultaneously via hotel-provided Chromecast. Ample electrical outlets for charging. Best shower of any of the ten accommodations we stayed at in Denmark - great water pressure and temp and completely glassed off from rest of bathroom. Ample paid parking available on site. Great hot and cold buffet breakfast. The optional 11AM late checkout was very convenient.----------Cons: Room is small with no real dedicated closet or drawer space to hang clothes or layout luggage and it not be in the way. Bed was not comfortable, which led to back pains in morning. Restaurant did not serve lunch or dinner. Better for a short vice long stay.

This was a mistake! It's our 9th hotel in Denmark through our road trip. This is the first time that we weren't welcomed. I expected, Hello, welcome to KOMPAS, how may I help you? Didn't get that. I expect, do you have car? Do you need parking? Help with the luggage... Nothing like that. I'm Golden VIP, didn't receive a welcoming beverage, didn't even mentioned. I only got an upgrade because I had requested, if not I'm sure they would ignore it! At the breakfast the tall gentleman walked by me twice and didn't wished me good morning! There's no hospitality in this hotel. It's not a VIP hotel. Extremely disappointing, should kept staying at Comwell, they are amazing. The room didn't match the photos, I expected wood flooring or tan carpet, had a dark blue carpet, the sink was clogged so you brush your teeth and the next person had to wait for 10 minutes to brush it. Super disappointing. I do not recommend.

Pretty standard Scandi hotel
Our visit to Kompas Hotel was just for a couple of nights. The staff were very pleasant and the room was what you'd expect for a hotel in Scandinavia in this price range. Room was spotlessly clean, bed was comfortable, though, as always in the region, the pillows were not that great. Shower was exceptionally good! The breakfast was disappointing with just porridge, boiled eggs or scrambled eggs being offered has hot options. Having said that, I do think the hotel had the edge on others I've stayed at in Aalborg, and would certainly consider staying there again

Lovely small hotel with good location in Aalborg. No bathtub in room and bathroom very small. Good breakfast. Expensive for mid style hotel but I would stay there again.

Nyt hotel - men skuffende service og vedligeholde
Fint nyt hotel, men vedligeholdelse af hotellet og serviceniveauet generelt er lavt. Vi opgradere til Suiten, som viste sig at have en ikke fungerende aircondition. -Vi gjorde opmærksom på det, men der blev ikke gjort noget i løbet af de 4 dage vi var der. Badekar er utæt, så der hele tiden var vådt på gulvet. Sæbebeholder var tom ved ankomst, og anden beholder som løb tør efter en dag blev ikke fyldt op ved daglig rengøring. Små badehåndklæder.

Very nice and relaxed hotel to stay. Best hotel!
Very good hotel, nice room and service in top. The personale was helpfull and gave good service. Even during Corona the hotel functional in a secure way. Placed few minutes from Waterfront - so take a wake and visit the cafes. Just 10 minutes wake from the center, it perfect location and easy to find.
