“Would certainly use it again”

If you are traveling by train this is the ideal pick. Right accross the road from Lille Europe station . A short walk to town centre. A large Carrefour hypermarket virtually next door in a large retail complex but heard no noise in the hotel. Well appointed rooms in the modern tradition. It's really a business hotel. The only downside is when it rains[as it often does in northern France] the walk into town offers very little shelter.

Very reasonable rates through Expedia and upon check-in noticed the rooms were 3 times the price, so we definitely had a bargain! The hotel is opposite Lille train station so the Eurostar would be a breeze (although we drove). No noise whatsoever heard from the rail station. We went to Lille for the Xmas markets and this hotel was perfectly situated. Across the road was the Eurostar station and a 2 minute walk through to the other side brought you directly to Lille shopping area. A further 10 minute walk brought you theough the centre to the Xmas markets. The room itself was bright and very clean. We were 3 ladies travelling and had 2 single beds and a double. All very comfortable with lovely fresh sheets. The room had a dividing screen too so we could cut off one half of the room if needed. The bathroom was separate from the toilet, always a bonus, and the bathrrom had a lovely big shower and a full sized bath. Tea and coffee making facilities, a microwave and a flat screen tv on wheels, made the room fabulous. The only 2 negative remarks with this hotel is the breakfast is very expensive for what you get and there is no hotel parking. You have to park under the hotel which is privately ran and cost us 21 euros for the night. Would most definitely recommend and stay again.

“Would definitely recommend for a stay in Lille”

We stayed at this hotel at the end of November to visit the Christmas market. The hotel was directly opposite Lille station (2 mins walk) which was convenient for us as we travelled on a Friday after work & arrived at 10pm (french time). It was about 10 mins walk from Place du Rihour & close to some restaurants. We booked a superior room & it was very large & clean & had tea/coffee making facilities, a fridge, hairdryer & TV. It was more than ideal for a weekend break.

“Very Convenient Base in Lille”

We stayed at Suite Novotel Lille because of it's close proximity to the Eurostar Station and because we were going on a Battlefields Tour, it was also very convenient. We were very pleasantly surprised with all aspects of the hotel, it's facilities and standards of comfort and cleanliness.

The location and price for this hotel was perfect for my needs travelling for business. The hotel staff also allowed me a late checkout which was very kind. The room came with complimentary & herbal teas snacks which was a nice touch. But the best thing was the free English movies - a very rare treat when travelling in Europe!! Breakfast was a bit strange however..... the food was indivdually packaged and looked like you were taking it from a vending machine. but fresh & OK selection considering it is France home of the continental breakfast i.e only normally pastries, rolls & coffee

“Excellent Lille Hotel”

What a very nice surprise when we stumbled out of the Eurostar terminal into this excellent hotel. The rooms were excellent - separate bath and shower, stand alone loo and a little facilities areas with a sink and fridge (all the movies and entertainment systems were also free when we stayed as they had a special offer on). Rooms were a very generous size and meant no falling over each other. Location is a 5/10 minute stroll to the town square, Lille Flandres Station and less to the Euralille shopping complex. All in all would recommend very highly.

Excellent position close to the center of the town and next to the railway station, very modern clean and tidy. Traveled with teenage daughter triple room ideal with dividing screen in bedroom, seperate wc and bathroom. Parking a bit expensive under the hotel but would stay there again.

“Funky, Clean Rooms in a Great location for Train Travelers”

We stayed one night after arriving on the Eurostar before heading south on the TGV. The location was perfect as both trains went through the Lille Europe station across the road. The room decor was unusual (kind of nautical/art-deco), but the room was very clean and comfortable and amazingly quiet given that it was next to a busy highway - you couldn't hear the traffic at all when the windows were closed.

My daughter and I were vacationing in Paris and scheduled an overnight trip to Lille, France to attend the Beyonce concert. I knew nothing about Lille when I booked this room, other than the reviews I read on-line. We couldn't have been more delighted with the Suite Novotel Lille Europe. The location is directly across from the train station and an easy walk to both the Zenith Arena (for the concert) and to 'downtown' Lille. We stayed in a two bed suite (one twin, one queen) and the room was huge given European standards. The room was thoughtfully designed with these cool sliding bamboo-like partitions should you wish to divide the two sleeping areas and similar sliding shades over the windows. There's a shower and bathtub area with sink and a separate toilet area, also with sink. Free in-room WiFi and movies. Mini refrigerator, safe, microwave, coffee maker. Very clean and well cared for. Deadbolt on room door with a swipe card to access both elevator and room. Felt safe. Loved this hotel and would definitely stay there again. Side note: When in Lille...be sure to check out Kokoa for the tastiest ice cream we've ever had.
