“Great budget hotel in Lille”
It was a weekend trip done by 8 friends on a budgetof £100 per head (transport & accommodation). So expectations were low. But the Novotel was excellent and we were delighted. Staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful and the rooms were spacious & comfortable. Lille is great for a weekend. There seems to be plenty of cultural highlights to keep us busy for 2 days, but we got caught up in the lively eateries & bars and didn't tick off a fraction of our sightseeing list!
“Excellent hotel in Lille”
The Novotel in Lille is well positioned- behind the regional railway station, but not noisy, and ten minutes or less from the Eurostar terminal (ask the front desk about the cut through route over the railway footbridge and through the new shopping complex). The hotel has clean, comfortable rooms which are quite and well decorated,a and a bar and restaurant, in an area which is filled with other places to eat and drink. The area to one side of the place is a little down at heal, but you are very close to the town centre, and its amenities, and the location is ideal for a stay in Lille and easy access to the trains.
“A Good Quality Hotel”
A modern Hotel situated in the quiet street not far from the Gare Lille Flanders and close the the City centre and the old part of Lille The bedrooms were clean, spacious and comfortable with air conditioning with en-suite facilities Good quality breakfast within a pleasant restaurant and bar area Only downside from a personal standpoint, was that when we vacated the hotel, the reception insisted that we pay a 6 Euro local Government tax even though according our receipt this had already been included in the price
