Entering the hotel with merry go rounds, kids playzone and a mini disneyland type decor was a bit different but we were led up to the hotel reception area and all became normal again. Helpful check in staff with adequate english, good ski storage facilities close to the exit area and a variety of bars and restaurants all within the one building made our stay a pleasure. There was plenty to explore over our 3 days all within the one complex
The skiing was fabulous across the 3 different peaks. If you love tree skiing then this is for you but the groomed intermediate runs were perfect for my standard too. Advice that North South wing was most convenient to ski lifts was spot on. The tower looks like it would be more convenient but definitely involves more walking and does not have anywhere near the atmosphere of the North and South wing hotel sectors. Beginners and kids areas are closest to the North and south wing as well. If you are looking for a resort in Japan which caters well for kids on and off the snow then this is it.
"at a golf course and a ski lift starts in hotel."
Very nice hotel with several activities available. Several walking trails, a golf course and for the winter a ski lift starts from the hotel premises.
Golf course rent equipment and even shoes so even the unexpected golfer can play.
Nice onsen and spa available.
Very nice, friendly and helpful staff.
Only small draw back is that the village is around 10 km away so own transport is helpful.
The hotel is great! The room is actually a studio with a small kitchen, private bathroom, western and tatami beds. It was so comfortable, clean and the staff was really friendly. We could rent ski/snowboard equipment (in mint condition) from the hotel for a reasonable price which made our lives so much easier. They have lovely indoor and outdoor onsen that are just heaven after a long day in the snow. Overall I highly recommend this place !
The look of the hotel is very nice, the lobby and the bar/lounge area was very beautiful. I especially liked the bar/louge area when I was sitting by the fireplace and I could see the snow falling through the window. The staff are very nice and helpful.
I would recomend to stay in Hirafu if it is close to the end of the season- It was very hard to find a place to eat outside of the hotel and only 4 buses were operating to Hirafu. Also I had to travel to Hirafu for a snowboarding lesson as the hotels lessons didn't have english instructors unless i booked a private lesson.
The rooms were nice and the beds were very comfy. The buffet breakfast was nice and filling.
Overall a lovely hotel that I would definately go to again
* professional, efficient, friendly staff
* convenient location very near the welcome Centre, ski lift, restaurants nearby and a convenience store just opposite
* clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated rooms
* well maintained ski and snowboard equipments available at ski concierge located at basement
* hotel provided pickups to and from welcome Centre and even to ski slopes at short notice
The hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. I like the interior of the rooms, comfy bed and pillows. Awesome shiseido products provided in the toilets and onsens. It's really nice to have a nice hot bath at the onsen after a day of skiing or boarding. If you are lucky you might be able to get some snow flurries while you are at the onsen too.
I must say a big thank you to the staffs at Niseko Hilton for helping us contact the bus driver when my friend left her goggles on the bus. The driver immediately walked over during his break time and returned it to us. Thank you so much for your help!
Thank you Green Leaf for the great hospitality! I would definitely recommend this place to my fellow skiing and snowboarding friends ;)
Overall its a good place to stay if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle... allows bonding session with a group of friends ;)
