Rooms are quiet and spacious. A little basic but useful to have kitchen area. Hotel is 5 min from tram stop and close to a big park. Swimming pool was hardly open during our 3 night stay (closed on weekends).
We only stayed one night here as we were just passing through Milan. It is a bit out of the center (nine stops from the Duomo, five from Milano Centrale), but the metro commute is easy and fast and being away from the noisy bustle was lovely. We woke up to beautiful birdsong! The room was small and utilitarian but comfortable for a short stay. We were glad to feel that we we were part of an ecologically conscious movement. We enjoyed a delicious dinner on the patio. Breakfast offered an amazing array of (mostly organic) foods for all tastes.
We stayed only for one night and were pleased with our stay. The hotel is a little out of the city center, but it is not far to find. With a 24 hour public transportation pass that only costs 4.50 euros, you will be able to get to and from the hotel on a budget. The staff were not friendly, wouldn't say they were rude either, but just not friendly. If you go to the shops on the street be careful of the produce store up the street, we were ripped off for some clementines that we bought!

We stayed here on the way to Venice and for the price that we were paying, we felt that it was great! Comfortable, clean, and spacious room, included great breakfast with eggs, ham, cereal, desserts and free street parking just outside the hotel.
The location is in the middle of nowhere by walking but with car, you can reach Milan in 30 mins so we didn't mind it at all.
Totally recommended this hotel!
Very friendly staff. The hotel is a bit out of town but on a tram service which links directly to the Underground system (buy a 48 hour pass). The restaurant serves Sicilian food which is both good and filling. The staff's English is limited but as they're willing to put in some effort this was not a problem. We would go back.
This neighborhood in the northern outskirts of Milan boasts the presence of Villa Clerici, an early 18th-century villa surrounded by beautiful gardens and home to an art museum and gallery. Visitors to the neighborhood can also find several entrances to Milan's huge metropolitan park, the Parco Nord Milano. Niguarda also includes one of Italy's foremost hospitals, the Ospedale Niguarda Ca' Granda.
