“"Four Seasons Service at Hyatt Price"”

The hotel and Gold Resort is situated on an expansive former "slave" plantation. It is a fantastic resort, with excellent hotel staff service. The room was nicely appointed and very comfortable. I recommend it highly!

“I was very impressed!”

Employees very friendly compared to Aruba Hyatt Hotel. When we arrived they had big smiles on and gave us blue curacao and to our little boy "awa" , The guy gives us a tour of the room, he spoke good english again very friendly. I definitely would recommend people to stay there, The pool was super nice.

“Curacao Getaway”

My wife and I took a sorely-needed week at the end of September to the Hyatt Curacao. Hotel is a little remote, but setting is beautiful, hotel is new and very nice and the food is really great. If you are looking for a beautiful place to just flop and get to know each other again, I highly recommend it! The staff couldn't have been nicer! Snorkling, sailing and scuba resortside or by excursions are easily arranged. Beach is beautiful. Hot & Sunny!

“How can you go wrong with the Hyatt?”

Yes, it is a bit of a drive and away from action but it is first class and well worth it. The drive into the city is not that bad and we comfortably made dinner reservations on several evenings and had no problems enjoying the shopping.

“Beautiful hotel great for total relax”

If you are looking for relaxation, this a great place to go. It's quite isolated from the city and other sites, but if you are after a nice beach, with some OK snorkelling, a great pool and fantastic rooms and service then this is a great option. There is a small shop onsite to buy general provisions, plus 3-4 restaurants for lunch and evening meal, all of which are of decent quality. The sushi is especially worth visiting, and the Italian gelato shop. The rooms are incredibly comfortable, and the architecture of the hotel is impressive. I'd definitely recommend a visit for those looking to disconnect from the world and take it easy.

“Will defintely return”

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Curacao and recommend it highly. Located on the only natural sand beach in Curacao, the Hyatt is in a beautuful, secluded area. The hotel itself and its grounds are beautiful, and the sunsets are stunning. The hotel has pretty much everything you could want for a vacation site, from golf to sailing, so you don't have to leave the premises - although I would recommend you do, and the island has some great sites to see and terrain to explore. Every dinner we had at Shor, one of the restaurants on premises, was delicious, and we felt it was one of the best restaurants, both in terms of food and service, on the island. If you stay at this hotel, I recommend reserving a room with an ocean view.

Area recommendations

The west side of the island, with it's national parks, mountains, and beautiful beaches is a must see. On the way there, be sure to stop at the Hato Caves, right by the airport.

“wonderful stay!”

my first time there and was so impressed. I checked in at 3:00 am and I was surprised for the special atention and friendliness of hotel staff even at those hours . the room was cozy and elegant and the beach is very nice. remember to rent a car when you go there because is a 30 minutes ride to downtown. they are by far the best option to stay on Curacao.

Events and shows

I went to the North Sea Jazz Festival on Sept 02-03. It's a fantastic event with world class artists and a great organization. every year gets better! please, don't miss it next year.

“Curacao best kept secret.”

The Hotel was about 45 minutes from the airport, and although it was a a little bit far, it was well worth the drive. My family and I attended a wedding that happened to be at the hotel (for the most part), and for the entire trip we treated extremely well by the staff of the hotel. I must give special thanks to the concierge who took extra care of us during our stay...we will return in the near future to experience Curacao and the Hyatt under a different atmosphere.

“Will definitely go back”

This was a beautiful hotel offering great restaurants, a challenging golf course, and quite possibly the best service I've ever had at a hotel. It was quiet and relaxing which is exactly what I was looking for. No doubt that I will make the trip back here.
