“Excellent hotel in a great location with professional, friendly staff....”
Professional staff with friendly service...unlike some of the past experiences in France. The room service food is not what you would expect from a five-star hotel. However, Nice has many excellent restaurants....just check with the front desk. Nice is best during low-season.
“Excellent 5 star hotel”
Had a great stay in a wonderful hotel. The hotel is very nice, but the staff service was what made it fantastic.
“5 star”
a well run and pleasantly staffed hotel
“Tres Impressed!!”
Came here recently for a 10 party 60th Birthday break. The staff - particulary Brice & Eleanor - helped to add those extra special touches on the actual day (fantastic flowers and lovely decorated breakfast room). Shame they couldn't make the sun shine - it rained all day!! Lovely hotel, will make a return trip in the summer.
“Outstanding!!”
An amazing hotel which is situated in a excellent location with everything on it's doorstep. The hotel staff couldn't have been more helpful, informative and friendly. The hotel itself boast spacious, luxurious and spotlessly clean rooms and also offers fantastic leisure facilities with an impressive swimming pool, clean sauna/steam room and a modern gym. The hotel is situated within a 5 minute walk to the old town where you will find many lively bars and restaurants which are open long into the night!! Although we only stayed in this superb hotel for a short time, we would both highly recommend it to others due to it's second to none high standards and it's ideal location. We look forward to returning this establishment in the very near future. Impressed!!
“Top Hotel - top location”
Hotel; was of the highest quality. Service and attention to detail was excellent. Mind you it wasn't cheap and for the price you would hope a special deal could have been negotiated for a couple of sun beds and a parasol on the beach. Despite the cost of a sun bed, would we go back - yes indeed.
“Short break with family”
This is a high quality hotel in an excellent location right on the promenade. The rooms and service are good, but the hotel and its location command high rates, so think carefully about extras - breakfast expensive and there are many alternatives withn a few minutes walk. Was also disapponted that although the rate included free WiFi in room, as I wanted to use the business centre to access e-mails (had not brought laptop as on holiday) I had to pay an expensive rate for access from there.
“best hotel experience in nice so far”
Modern hotel in great location - very friendly staff relative to other hotels in the area - will be back
“Excellent hotel and location”
Highly recommend this hotel, and is in an excellent location. Staff will cater to your every need and fluent in English. This is a first class hotel! Two short blocks from over a dozen cafe's and six blocks from the outdoor market and more cafe's. Everything that one would need is within a short walking distance. If you want to travel anywhere in the surrounding countryside use the bus system, it's excellent and inexpensive.
“We loved this hotel!”
The Palais De La Mediterranee is a great hotel. We loved our room and our view. The people were wonderful, informative, treated us very well and were very eager to support us. We called for some items (extra pilows etc) and they responded by bringing them immediately. It is right across from a pebble beach and you need to pay to use a chaise lounge and umbrella - expensive but standard for that area of Nice. We used their pool area as well and it is lovely too. We would go back for sure and we would recommend it as well. Great job!!
