“wonderful time in Nice”
Lovely hotel, perfect location, helpful staff. Try to avoid staying on 6th floor (noise) I was moved to another room, and overall loved my stay.
“Not impressed”
My new Dior shoes were stolen from my room (I lived in suite)!!!
“Super chill in Nice”
Location is the key factor to choose this hotel. The 98 bus (4 euros) from the airport stops outside. Room although second grade up, decor was tired. Bathroom v small and would be no good for anybody over UK size 16 or male over 6.4ft. Breakfast was OK but taken in internal dining room and not usual one facing the beach. Hot food was cold, Not worth 12 euro but did save going out to have breakfast. Blue Beach opposite, v good facitilies and Alex our beach waiter was v good. Food v good, recommend the chef's salad. Dont have a glass of white wine unless you like v medium to sweet, stick with vin de pays etc red or draught beer. If you like real French food and not tourist menus ! go to Franchini Had a great 4 day break and hope to return in a couple of months
“Poor service”
Reception/concierge staff excellent and very helpful however same cannot be said of waiting staff at breakfast. The buffet breakfast on most mornings needed refilled and staff seemed oblivious to bewildered guests looking for basics like hot milk rolls fruit and hot bacon/eggs.The staff in charge were like headless chickens with no perception of allocating staff to replenish buffet before accepting more guests and even when staff were asked for items they still did not appear. There is clearly a training issue here as the staff and food were plentiful just not available and lets this otherwise good hotel down very badly.
“Wonderful Hotel and Location”
Great hotel, wonderful staff, and beautiful view. Request a deluxe sea view.
“Not for me”
While the location is good, the overall experience was not good. I guess I should have figured as much when the guy at check in couldn't speak / understand English and my French is bad. Seriously hotel staff at a hotel like this in tourist cramped Nice should speak and understand English; they cannot expect all their guests to speak French. Lobby lacked ambience and the furniture was built for a dollhouse. No bar meant that we had to go elsewhere for drinks. Room was dark and fully stocked decaf Nescafe coffee. Thanks but no thanks. It's back to Le Meredien for moi.
“Internet access didn't work”
Internet access didn't work. A/C wasn't good.
“Great locaion”
I was extremely satisfied with my hotel. Location was excellant, staff ok, place was clean, price ok, quiet.
“Excellent location”
Excellent location, right next to the Negresco and the airport bus stop, so no need for expensive taxi's. Lots of restaurants behind the hotel and not far to the old town.
“Nice Hotel”
Definitely a great location. Not quite 4 stars, but most things in Nice that say 4 stars aren't going to be quite the same as 4 stars in America...
