Dining
Le Clos des Gourmets - Intimate gastronomic restaurant seating 30, open from mid-September to mid-May. Decor includes translucent-glass ceiling lights, double layers of brocade tablecloths, and white crockery with colorful but discreet Art Deco details. The à la carte and fixed-price lunch and dinner menus lean strongly toward fish dishes with “catch of the day” offerings. From April to November, Le Clos des Gourmets is closed, and the rooftop terrace restaurant opens to serve a lighter summer menu.
Rooftop Terrace - Informal bar and restaurant on the rooftop terrace open from mid-May to mid-September. Panoramic views, drinks and snacks all day, and a menu of fish dishes and grilled meats for lunch and dinner.
Breakfast Room - Separated from the lobby by frosted glass screens. Hot-and-cold buffet served each morning. Large green columns and potted trees punctuate rows of square tables, each with a pristine white tablecloth. The space is divided into two areas: one for individuals and small parties, and one for larger groups.

“Lovely hotel - a shame breakfast was so expensive!”
Loved location and pool but disappointed that breakfast was 21E per person! Found a nice cafe close by where we breakfasted for 5E90 instead. pool bar also overpriced but I guess with the weak pound we had to expect that.
“LOVELY HOTEL. LOVELY PLACE DEFINITELY GO BACK!”
Lovely hotel and in an ideal location close to the promenade. It was very clean and staff helpful. Bus stop just a few yards from hotel. Spar shop round corner from hotel for bits and pieces.
“Would strongly recommend”
Pleasant hotel with friendly and efficient customer service. Has great location and access to the city centre as well as the sea. Well maintained and nicely presented. Has a standard modern hotel atmosphere to it so if you are not a fan of that then perhaps you should consider other options. If you are driving then parking can be a problem because spaces are limited and can cost approx €20 a day. General verdict, I would strongly recommend it for anyone coming for a first or short visit to the region.
“Fantastic hotel with a luxurious feel”
This is a fantastic hotel with a really luxurious feel to it. The decor of the hotel and rooms is very chic. The bed was the most comfortable bed ever. We only stayed one night so didn't eat in the hotel or use the facilites but the dining room looked amazing, kitted out in black and white furniture and the roof top pool, bar and garden gave a really nice touch with wonderful views of the city. I would highly recommend this hotel for a special occasion if you are wanting to treat yourself.
“A fine choice in a superb resort”
This Hotel was a superb choice with excellent facilities, including a rooftop pool and Bar with loungers, splendid rooms, garden and dining together with the ideal position adjacent to the Promenade des Anglais
“second time around”
stayed at this hotel two years ago and went back without hesitation. Excellent location just off main promenade (although address would suggest it's on the promenade). Very well run, spotless, good breakfast if not cheap. Ideal place to stay in Nice - loads of restaurants within easy walking distance, bus stops nearby and train station 15 minutes walk. Staff very professional and friendly.
“Will certainly go back”
We had a great time at the Elysee Palace, Reception were knowledgeable, helpful at all times. We had arrived early and our room was not ready, but they spoke to housekeeping and arranged for our room to be completed as a priority and asked us whether we wanted to leave our luggage and return later or to wait. We waited and in under 20 minutes our room was ready. The free WiFi in the hotel was excellent, a pass code is issued to you by Reception that enables access in your room, but not other areas of the hotel. Tea and Coffee making facilities are in your room, but Cups are paper and don't get replaced unless you ask. The Pool is great, but in September is extremely cold, at it's deepest its over seven feet deep. Drinks prices on the roof are as you would expect in a good quality French hotel - expensive! You are not allowed to take 'Picnics' onto the roof, but you can order food from the menu. One towel per person is provided free of charge at the pool, additional towels are available at a charge. This hotel is in a very good location, with a supermarket and fruit shop only a few yards from the rear of the hotel and the walk in to town taking around 20 - 25 minutes. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and will certainly be going back. (Our room was a deluxe room a on the 5th floor above reception at the front of the hotel, with a great view of both the Sea and the Garden opposite.)
“Fantastic location, friendly staff - extremely satisfied.”
Only a short bus ride from the airport (don't waste money on cabs) on the 98/99 bus it cost around 4€ per person and stopped around 300m from the hotel. There are plenty of attractions within easy strolling distance and the beach is about a 35 second walk. The hotel was modern and very clean, complimentary soft drinks from the minibar was a good touch. The staff were very friendly and quick to respond. The roof top pool area is also clean and has a good bar area for quick ice creams or drinks for the kids. All in all I will be going back again later this year, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
“Wonderful surprize”
We booked this hotel while staying the first night at Windsor Hotel (3*) which was appalling and we had a wonderful surprise to move to Sheraton for the same price as Windsor Hotel but far better quality. Sheraton is a 4* hotel but is as good as any 5* we stayed at so far.
“Ideal break”
A fairly last minute decision to stay in Nice. Had a look at a number of options but decided on this hotel and very glad we did. Went with a junior suite and glad we did as it provided a good view of the sea. Pool terrace is ideal and although we only had lunch there on one day it was great and would recommend it. The hotel in general was of a good standard, helpful and cheerful staff. Would definitely recommend it to other travellers, although as with other reviews would suggest having breakfast at one of the nearby cafes/bars. All in all though a good location to use as base for a short stay in Nice.
