“We will certainly return to this homely, friendly little hotel in Nice”
The location and the quality and value for money was outstanding. We really enjoyed our stay and the staff made it exceptionally happy and memorable. Many thanks. Good Value for money
“Excellent value”
This is a good, clean, basic, you pay for what you get for Hotel with very helpful staff. Should I visit Nice again I would stay there again - no better recommendation! Warren
“Very good value”
This is a small hotel a few tram stops from the centre of Nice. The rooms and facilities are basic but it is clean and has very friendly staff so for the cost it is excellent value for money and I would recommend it.
“Hope to return”
We thought the hotel was very convenient for the Gare de Nice Ville station, shops and short tram ride to the beach from Liberation to Opera-Vieille Ville. It was very handy having the market almost opposite and the Spar shop close by. We loved Nice and would hope to return and stay at Hotel Comte de Nice again. Get the free shuttle bus to terminal 1 and bus No.23 to Gare SNCF. Ten minute walk from there to the hotel. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly and the rooms were clean.
“Nice value”
Its quite a good location not far from the amazing Russian Cathedral which is a must see. Not far to the trams, also there is a supermarket next door so dont bother forking out for expensive breakfasts. Also this has a coffee machine where you can pick one up for 50 cents, the hotel claims to offer coffee for 1;95 E and I imagined oh yes they will make me a nice coffee, but instead your told to go through to the darkened breakfast room and pour your own out of the machine, dont bother. The room was good, in fact we were given a choice on arrival although one of the keys didnt work so we ended up not getting a choice but we were happy with the room. They were a bit stingy with re-filling the shampoo/soap as we were there for three days but overall very good value for your budget traveller.
“Good option for budget travellers”
Reasonable price and good service for a 2-star hotel.
“Good Hotel”
Hotel Comte de Nice is a very good, clean hotel. The hotel staff are very friendly, speak excellent English (tried a bit of french but they realised straight away i was English). The room is basic but very clean. It was hot in the room but the room had a good fan that kept us cool at night. The continental breakfast is good value for as much as you can eat, so really sets you up for the day. Getting to the hotel from the airport is easy, just use the buses #99 or #98, much much cheaper than taxis Nice itself is lovely, definitely recommend walking around the Old City, and a walk up to Colline du Chateau where you get some great views of the city
“Good value, no frills, close to all Nice has to offer”
Clean, quiet 2 star hotel, friendly reception staff and good value on-site secure carparking. Walking distance to most of the city sights, and about 20mins walk to the old town. Good WiFi in reception. If you want a good value, no frills bed in Nice, then this is the place to go.
“Good value for money”
We had a twin room, number 108 - it was extremely cramped, with little room to move around and very little storage for clothes. The bath was also too small for comfort.
“Cheap and Cheerful but clean”
the hotel was a bit away from the main area of Nice but the exercise (25 minute) walk did me the world of good over the three days we were there. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and spoke excellent English. The hotel was very basic but spotless. we did not try out the food. We were given a choice of rooms - the one we picked was a good size for 3 adults sharing. I would visit again.
