“Very convenient for sightseeing”
The hotel was ideally placed for visiting the old town and not far at all to the sea front. We made use of the trams and buses frequently to get us further afield. Our double room was small but fine for us. The only negative point was that there was very little in the way of storage space for two people if you are staying for four nights. The staff however were very friendly, spoke good English and were very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
“Good location”
Location for this hotel is good. Quite near to the Port, which is good if you have come from Corsica and around the corner from the tram line which runs close to the main railway station. Close also to the old town. Hotel clean and reception staff pleasant and helpful but room was very basic with hardly any space for luggage and miniscule hanging area. Tea & Coffee making facilites was a pleasant and welcome extra. Hotel fine for the 2 nights we stayed there but unless we were unlucky with the size of the room it was too claustrophobic for a longer stay.
“Satisfactory”
Reasonably-priced hotel in an okay location. Courteous and friendly staff at the front desk. The only negative was the absence of an English-speaking channel on the TV cable network (BBC or CNN or any news channel in English) would have been nice.
“The room stunk”
It's a minimal service hotel, so I wasn't expecting much. The room itself was fine, with no obvious issues with cleanliness, except that it reeked of stale cigarette smoke despite the "no smoking" signs everywhere. Even after airing it out all day, it still stunk when I got back to the room at 10 pm. I will say that it is very convenient to the Nice Acropolis, where I was attending a conference.
“Whenever in Nice this is the hotel I will use.”
This hotel is fantastic for the little things, like really helpful and friendly staff, kettle and tea/coffee facilities, free internet, lovely bath, a new flannel every day and really clean room. It all adds up to a very enjoyable stay.

“Great location next to Old Nice and across from the contemporary art museum”
For the price this was a very good hotel. The staff members were very pleasant and agreable. There was a computer with internet access available for free in the telephone cabin. I stayed here twice - my first room was small and smelled of smoke although I asked for smoke-free, but it was also very quiet (which I had requested). The second time I had a noisier room (only if the window was open) but a fantastic view of the sculptures and garden in the contemporary art museum across the street. The hotel is just a few blocks from the bus station and the tram line so it has easy access to the airport and train station, and was 1 block from a department/food store (Monoprix) and lots of restaurants (Place Garibaldi) and literally next to Old Nice. I would definitely stay here again.
“great find”
Hotel location superb,5mins from bus station and central to all main sites, room although small and had little storage space was clean and was cleaned daily and fresh towel supplied daily even Sunday!I would stay again.
“A basic hotel in a good location”
The hotel was very basic and our room very small. Storage facilities were equally limited which resulted in most of our clothing remaining in the suitcase. That said the room was clean with fresh towels and bed linen supplied daily. The location however was very good - easy walking distance to the old town, the bus station and the trams that took you to the railway station. Overall the hotel was what we expected given the price we paid and is perfectly adequate for a weekend break but if you are staying for longer you may find it too cramped.
“Ideal budget hotel in central location”
16 people enjoyed a four day break to Nice staying at the Campanile Acropolis. Centrally located for all amenities including bus depot (ideal for sightseeing) and old town and restaurants. Fabulous for a short break.
