“Very happy customers!”

We were delighted with our triple room - very spacious and bright. Being at the corner of the hotel we had views in four directions! The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom modern and clean. The bath was full length and deep, so it was nice to enjoy this at the end of the day. There was also a good shower fitted over the bath. The location is very good: 10 minutes to the main square, 10 minutes to the beach. The bus stop is nearby and with fares at only one euro per journey or four euros for a daily pass, everywhere in the city is within reach. The staff were all helpful and friendly, with good English. We have no complaints, and would be happy to stay here again.

“Superb value, great staff”

I would like to echo all the other comments regarding this hotel, plus side was the location, staff, cleanliness etc. Particularly the staff, who were extremely helpful on all matters. Only negative, and it's not specificaly the hotel, but everywhere. Breakfast at 12 euros is a bit steep, although it was quite a good breakfast.

“Terrific hotel”

This is a great hotel - as good as previous reviews suggested. It is 300m from the main restaurant area and a ten minute stroll to the beach/ Old Nice/ main shops. It is typically French (Tall and narrow, little balconies, marble stairwell + lift.) Our room was large and airy comparing favourably with four star accommodation. No bath in the room but very large and truly excellent shower - easy to adjust and constant. (tiny bit in need of bathroom redecoration but otherwise spotless) The staff appear multi lingual and could not have been more helpful about maps, times, places to visit and eat. Breakfast is fine - pick up your tray and crockery as you enter. Good choice of cereals, fruit, croissants etc. great value for 8 euros. Great Hotel - would love to stay there again.

“Fantastic hotel”

The room was large even by North American standards. The hotel staff are quite friendly and quick to hep out. The room was airy, very clean and well lit. The hotel is on a busy street so you will hear street noise (something that is hard to escape in Europe). The bathroom is also large, however there is no shower curtain in the tub, which makes taking a shower an interesting experience. I would heartily recommend this hotel and when I return to Nice, I will definitely stay here again. One last thing, the hotel's location is fantastic! Only a few blocks to the beach, close to the flower market and a great many restaurants.

Hotel was excellent. In a good location close to attractions, shops and the beach. The staff were all extemely courteous and helpful.

What a lovely hotel and in a supberb spot for sight seeing, walking along the promenade and finding restaurants. really friendly staff and a nice comfortable room. Good value for money

“Great location, comfortable room”

We stayed only one night in Nice but were very glad to stay at the Best Western Roosevelt. It was just a short cab ride to and from the train station, and upon check in we were very pleased with the comfort level of the room. It was a quick walk to either the beach or to the restaurants in the Vielle Ville. If we are ever in Nice again we would probably stay here again.

“Good Hotel Excellent Location”

We made Nice our base for a 12 day stay in the region. We found that the Hotel location was excellent. The staff were very helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. We did not try the breakfast as it was more fun to have coffee in the local cafes. We heard that the other guests found breakfast excellent. If we go to Nice again we would stay at the Roosevelt.

excellent hotel, we stayed there in June for 6 nights with two kids, very spacious,air conditioning was working even though not in full power, but it was okay, really. The staff is extremely helpful and very friendly, they do appreciate your business and want to leave the best impression on you they can. The hotel's location is a real treat, walking distance to everywhere, especially the centre and the beach. The only thing to mention is the beds in our room. In my kid's room the beds were fine, but in ours the bed was quite rough, but the city is gorgeous, the people are great, what the heck.
