“good location for shopping”

You will not be able to check in before 2pm... do don't bother trying. Limited parking in the front, so you may have a bit of a walk when parking in the back. breakfast consists of cold cereal, bread/bagel with cream cheese/butter/jam, danishes, coffee/juice. will probably go back there b/c pretty good location for shopping.

“not at all bad for the price”

very friendly staff, big, comfortable room, good location for shopping - coffee and tea not replaced and room not cleaned properly during the stay, but not bad when we got it. Again, for the bargain price a good deal.

“Would Stay Here Again”

I made my reservation at the last minute and had multiple options but this hotel seemed to offer the best available rates for the location. The pictures online were very much an accurate depiction. The room was clean, it was a fairly simple drive to the Falls and other attractions. The staff was friendly and the tour booth rep very helpful. If there was one drawback - the room we stayed in was a HC accessible room and offered no counterspace in the bathroom which made it tough getting ready in the morning. In general I think most of the hotels in the area are overpriced but for the money - I think the value here was ok considering its a fairly busy tourist area. The shopping outlets were very close by and the choices of restaurants good too.

Area recommendations

I would recommend the Old Fort Niagara attraction - we had a good time and afterwards, Lewiston has to be a stop. The waterfront area is nice - lots of eating choices and I highly recommend The Silo - great food and one of the restaurants I wanted to visit. We also made a trek to Grand Island and the RIver City Grill - great food, service and atmosphere. We did all of the attractions on the US side of the falls which we had been talking about doing for some time - it was awesome.

When to go

Probably not best to go on a holiday weekend as crowds can be a problem. However, we went on a cloudy day which kept crowds down, but ended up being great for us. According to the tour guide, coming in during the week affords better access to the attractions and fewer lines.

“Enjoyed our stay”

We had no problems during our 4 day stay at Super 8. The staff was friendly, room was clean and comfortable. Pool was well kept. Breakfast isn't much (muffins and bagels, cold cereal) but that wasn't a must for our family. We were looking for an inexpensive place to sleep, didn't care for anything fancy, and this hotel was more than adequate. We would stay there again if we get back to the Falls!

“Not bad for 10 minutes out”

Hotel is 10 minutes from the Niagara Falls Park. Hotel itself is as expected from a Super 8 but its satisfactory. Don't be suckered into the tour information podium person selling you a tour for $85 per person as you can do nearly all attractions for about $30 per person including parking. Buzzy's across the street doesn't look like much on the outside or inside but the wings are excellent and the pizza is pretty good as well.
