“Great value for your money”
The room was spotless. So clean and fresh. Not what you think you would get for this price. The owner were very nice and helpfull.
“Better choices”
The host at the Moonlite Motel was very nice. Unfortunately, the motel is very outdated: right out of the 1970's. The rooms and pool are off of a scorching blacktop parking lot. The location along Niagara Falls Blvd was once an area with many motels. It is a now a hodge podge of a lot of things. We would suggest you stop at the Travel Center off the 190 Interstate and Exit 22. They will work with you on tours and affordable motels downtown. This location is at least 20 minutes in traffic from the Falls, and is very much out of walking distance. Getting a tour is a must, because of the lack of parking downtown and we didn't believe signs to find the falls were abundant. Finding the Falls and seeing the unique surrounding sceanory are set up to be served by the various tour operators. Be sure your tour covers entering the Maid of the Mist and etc locations, parking fees and entry fees. Read the fine print. Having done all of that being beside the Falls is almost a come to Jesus event. It was awesome.
“a budget pearl”
This is a motel w. small rooms, shower, fridge, TV, swimming pool. I loved the superior cleanliness, good linen, everything was really neat. Only drawback is a noise from the morning traffic, this is not for a supersensitive people. On the other hand, there are stores around, if you forgot something and the neigborhood seems to be good. I wish to owners only the best.
“Terribly Old”
I think this is a live-in motel. Very old, time warn, and small. The rooms are tiny, and nightmarishly dark. The location is equally unpleasant. The woman who runs the place seems to be very, very nice though. Not enough for me to lay my head down. I ate the overpriced room rate and got out of there pronto!
“Horrible”
This hotel has stinking restroom, No proper exhaust in the restroom. The lady owner has cut the donuts and pastrys into 4 peices and serving them. She was screaming from behind if we take a little more breakfast. I would never go back again.
“Expected Better for That Price”
We knew this would just be a place for a bed and shower, but this place was the kind of motel we would have expected for $20.00 less. Also, there ws not enough parking and the prking lot was so "cramped" that you could barely back out of you parking space.
“itomoyasu”
Hotel owner is a good person.
“Nothing fancy but great price, location and service, will go back agan!”
I am an older woman and travel by myself so security is a must for me. Yes the locks could be updated but they were satisfactory and did the job. My room was freshly painted and had new carpeting. The bathroom was very clean and served its purpose. I would recommend grab bars though for us old folk. I also would have liked to see mini blinds so you can open the curtains and let the light in and not have everyone see you at your table. I had a king size bed that I found quite comfortable. I asked for a microwave and received one. I knew they didn't have a coffee pot in the room so I brought my own. Their location was great. I parked my car and never started it again until I left. I would recommend taking the free bus rides most places you need to go. I can also recommend the Niagara Majestic tour with Grey Line bus tours, Lena was informative and entertaining well worth the price. As for the parking I was able to park right in front of my door. If more than one vehicle is in your party the owners should have one car park in the back so all rooms can have their space in front of their room. I would most definitely recommend this motel for a single traveler up to a small family.
“Niagara is best with Moonlite”
For out-of-town folks like us, it was a blessing to have Layla & George as our hosts in their nice and homey inn. They treated us like family on top of a reasonable rate in comparison to the other inns. The location is great ---- accessible to places to eat and buy stuff. Most importantly, Layla hooks you up to the best deals in town including transportation. Tip: When you arrive at the airport, call her immediately to start receiving the best tips; you listen to her advice and you will save yourself pleanty of time and money. -- From Geraldine & Joe
“Very good for an overnight stay”
Picked this place because of the proximity to Niagra falls and price. The Room and the bath room were very clean. This is a small Motel. The only negative thing would be that the place is very close to a busy street.
