“good stay”
It is a nice stay, the hotel is clean but be aware that the american fall view is a bit blocked by Another building. We went there to see the fireworks which is at the american falls which is a bit far from our room's view.
“Expensive parking”
Recommended However: The $93.12 CD auto parking fee for 4 days in an uncovered unattended parking lot is outrageous.
“Not too impressed”
I was told my request could not be accompanied. I had paid for 2 rooms with a king bed and was given two rooms with two queen beds! I was also charged an additional $100 for no reason!
“very pleased”
Great vacation! Great view of the falls. Very clean room. We made a huge mistake and ate at the IHOP. Super expensive. Right next door at Tony Roma's they have a breakfast buffet for ten dollars. One day we ordered room service which was very expensive as well but got it free because they were late ten minutes. They gaurantee your meal on time or it's on them. Parking was also expensive. It was twenty dollars per 24 hours. Take the wine tour if your into wine especially ice wine. If your driving from the United States, be prepared to leave early going back home. The border wait into the U.S.A. is long. We arrived at the Lewiston Bridge at 1pm and waited 2 hours to cross over. Over all a great mini-vacation.
“Best view”
View of the falls from our room was beautiful. Hotel entrance can use some work but overall it was great and would recommend this hotel.
“Not impressed”
well, we were there one night. what can I say? its not bad overall, except several ridiculous things. - in our 4G time they don't provide free wi-fi in each room! Guys, are you for real? Instead, they (of course, with all their love) charge you $ 12 per day for providing it in your room. Though, if I understand it right close to receptionists' desk there is free wi-fi. Ok, better then nothing. - furniture and lamps are very old, very. Though, they are in working condition, no complain. - still there are analog channels on tv in a room! Guys, wake up! Its 2011! - no good view on Canadian falls even if you on upper floor (25st). - parking spot costs $ 20 in additional. And they are not responsible for your car anyway.
“Rather disappointed”
The view from the room was SPECTACULAR! This was a family trip and overall we were not impressed with this Marriott. There were no wash clothes, the water in the sink would get piping hot but the shower only luke warm. The shower only got warm when placed on the middle setting. Trying to turn the faucet on hot only gave cold water. The room service menu was lacking simple hot chocolate. The Starbucks on site was closed by 9pm. The pool was so heavily chlorinated that the chemical hit you as soon as you opened the door. It was the little pieces that made a difference. The lids didn't fit the to go coffee cups, there were no stirrers. The hotel indicated in a few locations that it was recently opened so it could be just growing pains. We potentially give it another try if we found a good deal but otherwise we wouldn't pay the premium price.
“Convenient location, awesome view of the Falls”
Travelled with family (3 adults, 1 infant and a 7 year old). Requested at front desk to have 2 rooms next to each other. For additional minimal fee we got the suite in 31st floor with 2 rooms (1 with king bed and whirlpool, the other room with 2 queen beds). We have the view of the Falls right out of our large windows. Fantastic. Couldn't ask for more. The bedsheets were "clean white" (not faded white) and soft. Our family is very picky with hotel sheets. Ample pillows, a big plus. Location is very convenient, the hotel is few feet away from the Falls. Parking is available and conveniently located underneath the hotel. We stayed for one night only, would have loved to stay a day or two more except we didn't have much time. Extremely satisfied with the hotel and service.
“Terrible food & beverage department.”
My fiancee & I were so excited to come to Niagara & purposely stayed at a Marriott for there great service. We we're terribly disappointed to say the least. We ate at the restraunt & our waiter was nonexistent. Our food took over 45 min & we never even got our drinks till after our appetizer. When we confronted the manager he was extremely inappropriate & his excuse was they're not officially marriottt because the hotel use to be a shereton so they didn't have to meet up with Marriott standards. To make everything just perfect, we ordered the Canadian beer from room service & they gave us Coors. Everything else was very nice, just very disappointed in your food & beverage department quality.
“Wonderful view”
I loved the easy access to sites of attraction, view to the falls was impressive. Service was professional and helpful. I arrived early and was allowed access to my room before check in time that is certainly priceless when traveling with children. The room was clean and comfortable and so were the beds. I was disappointed with the pool. It is very small and the strong smell of chlorine was unpleasant. Sitting area around the pool had cheap plastic chairs not comfortable to relax in. Clean towels were available that is a plus. This hotel is very children friendly. I would certainly come back to this hotel and highly recommend it !
