“Stayed for one night”
Watch out! I stayed at Double Tree Fallsview hotel with my husband and my aunt for one night. The hotel location is great. My room was clean. The king bed wasn’t the most comfortable one. We all had a back ache in the morning. The check in process was lengthy and they charged us for $50 deposit at the checkout time which was a surprise. We were explained that if nothing is stolen from the room we'll get the deposit back.
“Alright stay”
The hotel was a great location and it was very clean. The front desk staff was less then friendly regarding questions and service besides that it was a great place to stay in Niagara Falls!
“Good hotel, not what I was expecting though.”
My boyfriend and I recently stayed at the double tree hotel in Niagara Falls. I've always wanted to stay here because seeing the outside of it, it looked like a georgeous chalet. When we got there I was extremely excited to get to the room and see what it looked like. I walked in and it was nothing special. The view was nothing spectacular, but the king size bed was amazing. Finally on the last day we were there, I was packing up my belongings in the bathroom area, and I looked up and noticed what thought looked like blood splatter on the wall! It was about eye level and there were several spots on the wall. This completely turned me off and I was in such a rush to get out there and failed to mention to the front desk as I was checking out. The pictures on their website seemed like it was the nicest hotel, but don't forget... pictures can be very deceiving.
“Very Nice”
Very Nice.
“Would go back”
Check in was a breeze, the warm cookie is a nice touch, and checking out was even easier. The only complaint that I had, which was taken care emmidiately, was that there was a smell of tabacco smoke in the bathroom. Obviously the previous guest smoked in the bathroom. They should put a smoke detector in there to prevent this from happening. I called the front desk, they offered me another suite on a different floor, we declined since we were traveling with others and wanted to stay near by. They came and sprayed the room which made a big difference. I also let the exhaust fan on most of the time. The beds were excellent, with fresh linen and plenty of pillows.
“It's okay”
Condition and cleanness was great but having to pay for self parking was very disappointing, plus the coffee was digusting
“Good Hotel”
Nice hotel
“Would Go Back”
If you're looking for a really great view of the falls this probably will disappoint. The American Falls could be seen partially at a distance from our 16th floor room. However, with that being said we found the view for fireworks to be great. The hotel room was clean and comfortable as was the rest of the parts of the hotel that we saw. The location was convenient for us. It was a short walk to the Fallsview Casino and the road it's on allowed for us to easily drive to the places we like going. The hotel isn't next or attached to any attractions so you do have to walk. Overall we had a very good experience and would go back.
“Nice Hotel”
Clean, Friendly Staff
“I will go back to this hotel again”
The kids loved the pool.
