“1st time, Bday Party”

It was a good hotel for super cheap. We were celerbrating a friends bday. However, with the cheap price we had to pay for parking, breakfast and internet. Yes the hotel was a really good price but we had to pay for extras. I may not stay there again unless there are no other rooms at the falls Overall, it was a good hotel but no perks!

“Clean room, poor TV”

Nice clean room. Suprisingly quiet next to ice makers. TV need an update as the picture quality is very poor.

“Old and not close to the fall and the casino”

The hotel was a little bit aged, and was about 20 minutes walk from the falls and the casino. The free wifi was very slow. Their service was not so bad, but I would stay hotels closer to the falls and with better equipments.

“Will Go Back”

For the price we paid well worth it and not a far walk to clifton hill. I would definetly go back as my son loved the indoor and outdoor pool with a slide.

“Great one night stay”

For a last minute trip this was a great place to stay at. We got there about 3 hours before check in time & they were able to let us check in early. Staff was very courteous. Kids loved the pool.

“Lovely place to stay”

Our two-day stay at this hotel was everything we hoped. When the front desk clerk found it was our anniversary, we were upgraded to a honeymoon suite which was lovely. The front desk staff were all extremely helpful - all valuable assets to the hotel. The attached Keg restaurant was excellent and the hotel breakfast buffet there was first rate. It was also a great location - walking distance to either casino, to the Falls and to the Imax. Stay there if you can - it was a pleasure.

“Top notch service, very good location”

Very good location, excellent hotel, within 15' walking distance from falls and attractions. Bring a big wallet. Food and particularly bottled water and drinks are very expensive, no matter where you eat (keep in mind that most places will not serve you tap water). Hotel will exchange currency but for best rates go to casino.

Area recommendations

Niagara on the Lake and a drive / stop thru wine country is a must. Ride Maiden of the Mist in early AM to avoid crowds. If you venture to Toronto for the CN tower be prepared to wait an average of 2 hours to go up. Best to be on line by 8:30AM. As an alternate take one of the many private boats to the islands. Very nice one hour round trip with excellent views of wildlife and city of Toronto. If you have time stay for a couple of hours on the islands. The kids will love it and the best part - no cars allowed - bring walking shoes - light snacks and bottled water).

Getting around

Stay near to the falls and your best bet is to walk everywhere

Even for a New Yorker you will have sticker shock. evrything is very expensive

Dining

Depends on your test, wallet and expectations. Breakfast is very expensive no matter where you eat and they will not serve you tap water (be ready to pay $3.00 for pops -soft drinks- and $4.00 for bottled water). Dinner prices are reasonable -althought drinks are still expensive- at least they will serve tap water. Try Bravo pizza & Tony Roma's - very good food with very good prices. If you go up the Skylon tower buy the package (early dinner which includes the cost of going up)

Area recommendations

Fallsview area by the new casino. Much nicer environment than Clifton Hill.
