“Pleasantly surprised”

We had to change our hotel plans last minute and this was the only one available so I was worried. Although I wish it was closer to the beach it was much better than I expected. We got the 2 bedroom suite and there was plenty of room for 4 of us. The breakfast was good and everything in the hotel appeared clean. The only negative thing I can say is that the check in is at 4:00 and I called to see if we could check in early and the women said yes and to come at 2:45 but when we got there they looked at me like I had two heads but other than that I was pleased.

“AWESOME!!!”

Had never stayed at a Residence Inn before but now we'll always seek one out as our first choice. The place was great - very clean, comfortable bed, spacious,full size appliances, quiet. The staff were very friendly and courteous. The breakfast was very good too! The price couldn't be beat, you can't go wrong at this place!

Area recommendations

Downtown Newport has great shops and of course the mansion tours and cliffwalk are always time well spent.

“Awesome choice”

This was a great hotel for my family. It was very, very clean. The breakfast was fabulous. The pool area was clean and well-tended. There was a workroom with two computers and a printer which came in handy. If you plan on cooking in the room, keep in mind that there is no oven. There is a large microwave and stovetop, however. We would definitely stay at this hotel again!

“Providence Experience”

I don't particularly care to stay in hotel/motels I find them uncomfortable, noisy and inconvenient. However my stay at the Residence Inn in Middletown was remarkable for one reason and that was the world-class customer service provided by the staff. I was there to participate in a commissioning ceremony @ the Navy base and when and if I return that is where I will stay.

“Great place to stay!”

The Residence Inn in Middletown is a very comfortable clean hotel. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of food and unlimited amounts of coffee or herb tea. Our room had a king size bed, living area and small kitchen. it was perfect for us! I hope all Residence Inn's are like this as we plan on staying at them on future trips!
