“Great B&B”

We enjoyed our stay at Fair Street Guest House. It was exactly what we had wanted for our short stay in Newport. The hotel is close to the shopping and sights of town, but the rooms are quiet and ensure a great night's sleep. Breakfast was perfect for getting us ready to tour around the next morning. The hotel's owner was friendly and took his time showing us how to get around town when we checked in. We will definitely stay here again!

“Comfortable, clean, and convenient”

Perfect location. Warm, inviting, and comfortable bed & breakfast. We loved our room- it was clean, well-decorated and had everything we needed. Breakfast was made-to-order and the owners gave us helpful information about the surrounding sights. We will definitely go back!

“Perfect B&B”

Excellent location (200 ft. from Thames Street); warm, knowledgeable and helpful hosts (local maps, events info, restaurant recommendations); comfortable beds, immaculately clean bathrooms, tv, wireless, welcoming common areas; breakfast to suit all tastes; lovely garden and fishpond, ample parking. All this at very modest rates. What more can one ask?

“Major convenience and loads of charm”

“Excellent B&B in Newport”

We had a wonderful stay at the Fair Street Guest House. The location was perfect, close to the harbor and the mansion area.The breakfast and service were excellent. Denise and Wayne were very knowledgable and helpful and made us feel right at home.

“I will return!!”

Owners were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious! What more could you ask for from a B&B? I will stay there again! They let me check-in early (late morning). Very short walk to all of the happenings of downtown Newport.

“Loved it”

I would definately return. The owners were very friendly. What a beautiful home. The room was clean, a bit chilly at night, but the owner made sure she gave us a second quilt. The location is great, and you can walk to nearly everything. We walked to the manshions, it took about twenty minutes but it was beautiful out, so it didn't bother us. Very clean town with a historic feel to it. Unfortunately the museums werent open yet for the season. We really enjoyed our stay, and would reccomend this bed and breakfast to couples, I'm not sure how it can work if you bring children. If you call ahead and speak to the owner she can probably advise.

Area recommendations
Armory sells pretty neat old items. Beautiful Manshions and a nice walk by the water. Fun bars at night with trivia and 80's theme bands.

“OWNER OF B & B WAS VERY HELPFUL”

ONLY PROBLEM W/ THE AIR CONDITIONER DID NOT WORK SIMPLY BLOWING AIR NOT COOLING EVERYTHING ELSE WAS EXCELLENT

“Great Location”

Very nice innkeepers - delicious breakfast -the best part was proximity to everythiing in Newport
