The hotel was in an excellent location so getting around to and from the area was no problem as the Stratford tube station is just 2 or 2 levels down from the hotel lobby and a short walk away.
Westfield Mall is right there as soon as you step out of the hotel lobby with plenty of stores if you want to do some shopping or browsing as well as a supermarket and various restaurants and food establishments within the mall itself or connected to it which give you a wide range of options if you are looking for a bite to eat.
The room was large and spacious and the bed was very comfortable.
Housekeeping did an excellent job cleaning the room.
I didn't have any issues with the stay apart from the phone in the room not working when I tried to make calls to friends living in London.
Brilliant value for London , nice room , decent free breakfast. The area is fine - read a few bad reviews but felt completely safe - nice takeaways and couple of useful shops. The wifi (free) was great I've stayed in 5star hotels with slower speed and paid for the privilege.
Found the staff to be extremely courteous and helpful.
Public areas were bright and airy and the terrace had a great view of the Docklands area & the O2.
The food in the restaurant was of a high quality and very well cooked in the French style.
We stopped here for a special occasion, and the staff at the hotel were so friendly and accomodating of all requests that it really did make it extra special.
The views from the rooms are amazing, and the location of the hotel is just perfect. 20 mins on the tube into London, yet it feels like a million miles away when you want to kick back and relax.
The breakfast was fab - so much choice. Buffet style selection, from hot sausages, eggs, beans, to croissants, cereals, fruit. It was all there!
I can't get across enough how much I like this hotel. It will be the base for all of our future London trips!
Very nice hotel, staff were very helpful and we will definitely be returning.
Great value and breakfast was included...beats any premiere inn! The fact bottles of water and fruit were complimentary added a very good touch.
I booked basic room, only, and that at a special offer rate. At the Ramada Hotel many of the more expensive rooms have views over the developed docklands area. This room, 309, looked onto adjacent buildings. The room was excellent, as good as any four star I have stayed. The basic rooms do not have a room safe. Reception will lock up any valuables if you wish.
The hotel is on the Dockyard Light Railway. (DLR) at Prince Regent Station. Two changes to Leicester Square less than thirty minutes away. (Prince Regent, to Canning Town (which is on underground,) change to Jubilee line. At Waterloo take Northern Line to Leicester Square.)
The 02 Dome is very close to the Ramada. The most enjoyable way of reaching there is via two DLR stops to Royal Victoria and then take the cable car over the water for spectacular views of the 02 building, the Thames and surrounding areas.
The 02 underground station is North Greenwich (on Jubilee Line) where, if you wish, you can continue into the West End
My stay was for business while I was working at Canary Wharf. The location was a 2 minute walk from the DLR station and I was in Canary Wharf in 15 minutes. The hotel was in an ideal location, easy to get where I wanted , but away from the hustle and bustle. All the staff that served me were friendly, professional and helpful. My room was extremely clean, had everything I needed and the bed was extremely comfortable.A bonus for me was that the room had air conditioning as I generally find that hotel rooms are too warm for me, but this was a perfect addition to the room.Alternatively, when the outside temperature had cooled I did open the window instead. The buffet breakfast had plenty of choice and everything was fresh and tasty, again the staff were really friendly and attentive.Sadly I didn`t remember that there was a pool and gym at the hotel, so I can`t comment as I didn`t use them.
